Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Area Rug After reading all the great reviews of this product, I decided to order one. I am very satisfied with the rug. It is very plush and looks to be very well made. The one issue I have is that one corner wants to flip up and will not lay flat. The vacuum clearner caught it and pulled some of the rubber backing off which caused a few of the carpet loops to come loose. Since it wasn't really noticible, I just applied some glue to the back side of the rug so that it wouldn't lose anymore. I probably will not put this rug in the washing machine as I can see the rubber backing is very thin and would probably not hold up. That would be my only complaint about the rug and can see that being a problem for smaller rugs that might get washed regularly. Overall, I am pleased with the rug and will probably order more if I have a similar needs. I got lots of compliments on the rug over the holidays. The rug is being used as an entry rug in front of my front door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Gray is not Gray" & Doesn't Look Like picture . Hello, If you order the "gray" color, be aware that this gray is a muddy greeny-gray and it is shiny . DOES NOT LOOK anything like the picture . Sorry , but really, it's a icky color. They use to have a real nice sliver gray, which I loved. I bought several of that color too. But they discontinued that color :( . I have 8 rugs of this brand in a blue- blue ( they don't have that blue anymore either) and they are fine. But when I saw it came in gray ( which I love gray, I mean real gray) . I bought 2 small and 2 huge . Soo disappointed that the gray is not a "real" gray. Had to return asap. But . . . while I was at the store, I bought a new LG washer, dryer , side kick & pedestals. I will leave a review for all those too. But they are not going to be here for a couple of weeks. So I will see ya soon . Take Care !! Willow

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the fact that its washable. I used this rug in our bedroom. We have dogs and sleep in our bedroom on the comfortable rug. It's wonderful to know that I can easily throw the rug in the washer to keep our room fresh and clean. The dogs love the rugs too :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the durability, but wish a better selection for sizes. Due to the durability wash after wash, the Renaissance rugs have always been my #1 go to for area rugs. The colors always stay sharp. Lately though, I am disappointed in the sizing of the rugs. The sizes are not the same as years past. They are sized smaller. Bought 2 of the 2' x5' runners and what a joke. I wanted them to be placed in front of my bathroom's double sinks. Being only 2' wide, you couldn't even step on them to use the sinks. I don't know where you could use such a narrow runner. You'd trip on it in a hallway. I wish they would come back with the larger sizes!!! Area size 30" x 45" used to be 30" x 50"! I have proof of the older rugs being larger sized. I just want different colors! Other then size, these are great area rugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Latex backing causes yellowing of luxury vinyl tile or plank according flooring manufacturer. Really liked these rugs. Ordered 8. Then found out that the latex backing can cause yellowing and discoloration of LVT and LVP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these rugs!! Well exceeded my expectations! Will order another set of runner and two small rugs so I don't have to move them from house to RV! The shag works perfect for camping-catches everything- and shake out so easily! With grand daughter in the camper-what a plus!! They get hard use in the house, too and still look great!! Love them!! Champagne color looks greyish on line but is a beautiful light brown (med tan) color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had more rooms in my home that need rugs! Ordered the 8' teal rug. The color is very rich and lustrous. I was concerned about the color because on my computer screen "teal" looked more like "sky blue". We placed the rug on a tile floor beneath a raised kitchen bistro set, looks great! The latex backing is fine except it makes vacuuming a little difficult - the rug tends to bunch up under the vacuum unless I vacuum in a one-way combing motion. The beautiful color, perfect size and nice feel to bare feet will more than make up for that. I put a rug pad under it as I find it feels more substantial underfoot with a touch more padding than the latex alone provides and gives a more uniform overall look. For the price this was a great buy that has added a punch of color and panache to my home decor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8+ YEARS AND GOING STRONG!!! I started buying these rugs 8+ years ago and they are still going strong!!! Have these nylon rugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The special way the latex is put on the back of the rug makes it so you DON'T SLIDE AND FALL. Cheaper rugs overlap the sewing of the backing so it slides on the wood floor. For all these 8 yrs., I drop food on them, dogs p** on them, and husband drops everything on them, I WASH MY BEIGE RUGS AND THEY COME OUT NEW EVERY TIME. WILL NOT BUY ANY OTHER RUGS TIL PENNEYS QUITS SELLING THEM. DON'T BELIEVE ME? BUY A LITTLE ONE AND TRY IT AND WASH IT AND DRY IT, YOU WILL BE BACK FOR MORE, JUST LIKE ME. MY GREATEST FEAR IS WHAT WILL I DO WHEN PENNEYS DOES NOT HAVE THEM ANY MORE. THEY ARE SOFT AND THICK, TOO!!!

The champagne is NOT champagne...It is a med taupe-ish brown.... Not too dark...and not light...Not quite a chocolate brown, but a little lighter.. I like it very much, and am going to buy more in larger sizes..

Can the 8X10 be put in the washer or only spot cleaned?

Asked by: West7573
I don't know. It is too big to put in the washer. If it gets too dirty I will try washing it on the deck outside.

Is the Grey a real grey or a Bluish grey?

Asked by: jwiggs445
The gray is a muddy greenish gray. Not very nice at all. But the rug itself is nice . I have several in royal blue and silver gray, which they don't make anymore. But I hope this helps .
