PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Savannah cut-to-width fringed thermal roller shade helps reduce energy costs. Note: Roller shades will be slightly narrower than the width ordered; to avoid the resulting light gap on each side and to achieve maximum privacy and light control, consider outside mount.

  • cordless product safe for homes with young children and pets
  • polyester matte finish fabric with foam backing for privacy
  • scalloped hem with coordinating rayon loop fringe
  • reliable multi stop spring roller allows positioning of shade at any height on the window
  • all colors are white to the street side
  • custom cut to your width
  • for inside mount installation, deduct 1/8” from your total width for proper clearance
  • universal steel brackets, screws and anchors included which allow for inside, outside or ceiling installations

Roller shade is white on street side and can fit windows up to 64" long. Window must be at least 1"D for inside mount; 2¼"D for flush inside mount. Hardware included.

Polyester. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Imported.

To Order: After measuring your windows, select the size range you need, and the color and quantity and click on "add to bag." You will then be able to specify the exact width you need for your shade. For inside mount, subtract 1/8" from your overall width to account for mounting brackets. ¾"D for inside mount; 2¼"D for flushed inside mount.

Note: If you are ordering more than one shade within the same size range and want the shades cut to different widths, you must place each shade in the shopping bag separately.

Spring motor roller shades are manufactured with approximately 8” of extra fabric added to the length. This is required for the proper operation of the spring activated roller mechanism.

FREE SWATCH: If you would like to receive a swatch of the fabric prior to ordering the item, please e-mail customerservice@phaseii.com to receive a sample swatch of fabric. Please include your name, address, item description and color that corresponds with your selection. Allow 5 days to receive the swatch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great in utility or outbuilding; not for house. Sweepstakes Entry I wanted classic scalloped-edge roller shades for the two windows in my side-entry attached garage on the front of my house. These windows face the street; I keep the shades drawn most of the way down. The windows face west, so I hope the shades will help block the hot evening sun this summer. I hung them from the top of the window interior; the directions were easy to follow. I would buy them again for a shed, cabin, garage, basement, or attic window. They are a bargain, but they are vinyl (or something), so I wouldn't display them in the living areas of a house. PS: JCP is having a sweepstakes for reviews; product rating doesn't affect chances of winning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Even at a clearance price, not worth it. Very disappointing. Same problems as many others have stated. The shade was stuck together, had to pry it apart to unroll it. Noticed a small hole about 8 inches from the left side. The hole appeared every few inches all the way to the top of the shade. The side that was cut, was poorly done. There were many threads left hanging. The pocket for the bottom rod was strange. When the rod was instered, the pocket stuck strainght out, instead of laying flat. I returned the shade the same day I picked it up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor workmanship The shade seems of decent quality but the bottom of the shade which was to be scalloped and fringed was just a piece that was somewhat crudely sewn to the bottom of a regular cut off shade. The pocket that was sewn in for the rod was not done properly. It was not attached to the shade at both top and bottom which caused the rod to stand out straight instead of laying flat. My mother was having company and wanted the shade hung so I had to apply glue to the back of the pocket and adhere it to the shade to make it usable. Messy, annoying and just not satisfactory for the price..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap Vinyl, Tacky Fringe These shades are not fabric or light-filtering as described. They're vinyl, and they look cheap and tacky. The fringe part is especially cheap looking, and because they're vinyl, the fringe flap sticks up at an awkward angle behind the shades. I'd return them, but the shipping is too expensive to justify a return. They went straight to the dumpster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shades, horrible measuring instructions i have revised my review, they are great shades once you work through the nightmare of measuring without proper instructions. Measure the top of the inside window sill and then add 3/8"! AGAIN, MEASURE INSIDE WINDOW SILL AND ADD 3/8"!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality and workmanship I'm a JCP fan but these shades are awful. The shade rolls were stuck together and wouldn't unroll freely. My daughter and I had to lay them on the floor and manually work each shade open. Even being very gentle and using only our fingers to pry them apart, small holes and bubbles appeared where layers separated. The final straw was that one shade wasn't even cut straight and was shredded all along one side. These are going back and I'm looking elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mold, a hole, and small spots that don't clean off. This Savannah Cut-to-Width Fringed Thermal Roller Shade arrived full of black and orange mold. We were desperate for a window covering so we decided to use a Clorox wipe on it. I was disgusted to find out it was not only on the outer layer of the shade. When we unrolled it the entire thing was stuck together and had to be pried apart along the entire length. There are also some sort of reddish brown specks on the white shade. There is a small hole in the first few inches as well. The side that had been cut is rough enough strings had to be trimmed off and it still catches on the lace valance. I am totally disgusted with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected Ordered to reduce draft on multiple windows. I ordered brown, white and cream in different sizes and all fit well upon receipt;; I liked how the backs are all the same (white) and make the outside of the house uniform in look. The white ones seemed to have excess adhesive and some staining, or maybe had been in storage a long time - when we unrolled the white ones, a few, small pinholes were ripped in the shade, showing all the way through to the outside. The holes are small, and hardly noticeable, so we kept them. Overall very satisfied.

Slat for hem pocket

There is nothing in the instructions about how to put the hem pocket slat in. I've put it in the only way I could see to do it but the way it hangs looks strange (it juts out, I guess you could say).. Can you advise?
Asked by: Millie
Mine also seemed 'odd' at first, and they do jut out a little. There also were some 'ripples' in the shade from being rolled up so long. I layed it out on a table and flattened it out by hand, running my hand over it and pressing on the 'jut' so that it was flat. Be careful not to press how you don't want it....as it seems to hold shape. With that pressing, and hanging for a few weeks now, they are slowly loosing the ripples and the jut is not as noticeable.

Is the top roller white, when ordering a color?

I have sheer curtains and want brown shades that are brown on top as well, not a big white roller eyesore at the top
Asked by: sickofwindowtrims
yes, the back of the shade is white; and the brown shade has the white part showing at the top. Depending on how you mount your sheers (with curtain rod in front of white part of roller to block/hide it, for instance), and if the sheers are white, it may not matter. Or you could do a valance on top.

Why can I not pick a color so I can place an order for 2 of these shades?

Asked by: Betty
When ordering, you have to put in specific measurement sizes (down to the 1/8 inch); I seem to recall putting in one and getting it in my shopping cart, and then editing the cart to order 2 of that particular color/measurement.

Valance?

Hello, Does anyone know if the Savannah roller shade has an option of adding a valance to hide the roller? If so, what is the cost? Thanks
Asked by: Hello
We do not sell valances for roller shades other than the curtain valances.
