Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once past the learning curve...GREAT! This oven takes a bit of time getting used to, but after living with it for a little over a month, I have to give this oven a great review. The upper oven with the "infrared" cooks quickly and easily, browns nicely and requires no pre-heating. I made some stuffed mushrooms with crab and bacon on top in 8 minutes...bacon was perfectly crisp and the crab was well cooked. I have not used the lower oven as of yet, as it is just my wife and I and the top oven is perfect for our size meals. The cooktop is fantastic...easy to clean, heats up very quickly and evenly. I purchased some new stainless cookware to compliment our new oven, so the learning curve was longer than usual, but after a few meals, I'm cooking like a pro (or semi-pro)! Just a word about the lower infrared broiler and steak...don't use it...pan fry instead (unless you prefer to fill your home with smoke and overcook your meat before browning)...it does NOT work like an outdoor grill! Other than that, LOVE this new oven!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We installed our new microwave about 3 weeks ago. The microwave is large but very nice looking. The extend a vent does appear to make the unit larger than most. As other reviewers have mentioned the extend a vent is painted white plastic and seems to chip very easily. After only 3 weeks have noticed our first white plastic spot. This is very concerning as to what the microwave might look like after a few years. We also have an issue with the display not working correctly when the fan is on. Not a huge problem but does have us concerned if there is a larger issue with the electronics on our unit. Overall, to be very honest, we think the quality of the product for this price point is not good when you consider the issues with the extend a vent and display. We've also noticed that the center of the food is still frozen while the rest is very hot when following heating instructions on the food...we just heat the food for 30-40 seconds longer. In addition, for our personal taste, the microwave looks too big for our kitchen. Overall I hope to return it and would not recommend the product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Happy I was very excited to be getting all new appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher & microwave). thought I was very careful by researching, reading reviews, etc. Bought all LG stainless about two months ago. Stove is model LDE3037ST. The first time I cooked on the stove top it left a mark that I cannot get off. I use only the Weiman stove top polish that came with. I read that sugar-y foods could etch stove top so to clean off immediately. I was cooking sloppy joe & chili which i guess both tomato based items have sugar but I did clean immediately. Also still not used to the amount of work it takes to clean kitchen after every meal every night. I cannot just wipe down appliances anymore. After wipe down, the stove top has to be polished with certain polish, certain polishing scrubber, then paper towel. Then the stainless parts have to be polished using a different certain cleaner & cloth. No complaints on how it cooks but not overly impressed either. I guess I am too tired from all the cleaning and polishing to be very excited.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice features a few problems Liked the looks of the LMHM2237ST and the extend a vent. Replacing an existing microwave so opted to put it in with help. A minor problem is that the wall and cabinet templates have to be trimmed before use and when lined up with the center line on the wall you quickly find out they are not 100% to scale when you place the wall bracket over it. Allowed for that and microwave went up on first try. A bigger problem is when stainless steel is not stainless steel but very cheaply painted white plastic. The door and trim are metal, but the front of the extend a vent is not. As soon as I took off the protective plastic, a small bump with a light brush turned into a white plastic spot. I have no problem with well constructed chromed plastic, but for something that needs to be frequently cleaned for grease, this is very poor. Due to an upcoming trip I will not be able to talk customer support for a couple weeks, but will be surprised if it gets covered and will be too late to take down and return to the store. Chip is on right on bottom vent piece in attached picture. Microwave and vent system itself works well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic performance and features Bought this range 1 month ago -- it is awesome! The stove top heats up super fast and with my stainless steel pans can cook at very low heat quickly -- stove top warms up super quick and responds rapidly to temp changes. The ovens are awesome -- convection bake and roast are becoming favorites and infrared broiler is awesome Love the fact that it has separate timer for each oven (sounds like a no-brainer but very hard to find) Love the music it plays for timer, warm up and completion. Haven't needed to clean yet but am sure that will be fantastic as well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite what as good as I hoped The microwave looks nice but it is difficult to read the buttons. If they lit up it sure would be nice. Also the extra vent on the bottom takes up more room than I expected. The result is I can not fit a tall pot such as would be used for boiling several ears of corn beneath the extra vent and the surface of the stove. Also the metal rack and the ring that supports the turntable seem to be very flimsy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lot of features but... This range is spectacular looking inside and out, but the cooktop attracts so much dust daily I can make dust bunnies out of them. Even on hi temp, water seems to take twice as long to boil as my old electric stove. The design of the two standard oven racks is very annoying in that there are two "handles" that flip upward making it hard to put something in or take it out without burning yourself, especially in the smaller upper oven. While I have been experimenting with the convection features, I've noticed that with the auto conversion the oven does in convection mode, things like cookies and even a pork roast take much longer than usual to cook. Even baking things in normal baking mode seems to take longer than usual. The manual could use some work to make using some of these features easier. The manual also tells you the broiler pan and grid are sold separately, but provides no link to purchase them. It also says you must use a convection roasting rack on the broiler pan/grid, but doesn't give you a clue as to where to get one. I spent a lot of my own time trying to track down these items so I could convection roast some pork, and in the end had to buy another brand on another site. The stove is pretty, but not very impressive in performance so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch micro I really love the design of this. The pull out vent/fan feature really helps control the steam/grease when cooking on front burners. Also the light is very bright, which makes it very easy to see what you are cooking.
