Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away from this range After 6 months of use, this range's top has slowly started to become white. After 9 months, it has grown bigger and it looks terrible. LG claims that this is normal. So, if you want to spend an arm and a leg and after 6 months use you get the a top that looks like a cheap $200 electric stove, be my guest. I have been owning electric ranges for my entire life and never seen something like this. Repairmen did not even bother to try to explain why and how this can even happen. Your other option is, just look at the stove and do not use it.. See the pics and judge for yourself [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Style/Design Liked the slide-in models from an appearance perspective much better than the traditional style. Did look at several traditional from various manufacturers. Liked the cooktop layout better on this one overall. Nice usage of space. Oven is pretty large. However, due to the oven size, you do lose a good bit of space in the drawer underneath - if you previously stored pots/pans in that compartment. So you'll be relocating several of those. Features are excellent. Initially didn't think we'd like the controls on the front, but actually do. And for those postings that indicate a safety issue with knobs turning by mistake, I'm not sure I agree. You do need to push in to turn, so not as much of a chance. And if concerned with kids doing, well, perhaps other issues instead... :-) Haven't used much to date as just received a few days ago. Would recommend based on experience so far. Rated 1 out of 5 by from LG slide in range suddenly stops working I bought a beautiful black stainless slide in convection in August 2016. It is now April 2017 and it suddenly died during a self-clean phase. It is completely dead. The panel doesn't come on, the oven is locked and nothing works. Once I have this repaired (due to having a protection plan) I will never, ever buy LG again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an awesome stove. I love this stove. I have had this stove for a month. I like to cook, but want to get it done quickly. On the convection bake setting, the oven bakes two pans of cookies wonderfully. Pizzas turn out with a nice crisp, brown crust. I do use stoneware to cook my cookies and pizzas. I have made homemade rolls that turned out awesome. My husband cooked a roast on the regular bake setting that turned out moist and tender. The power boil burner on the stove top heats up water quickly. I think that all the burners heat evenly and well. The stove looks beautiful in my kitchen as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG ceramic top stove I love this stove. The elements heat up fast. The two front burners have dual burners and in the back the middle is a keep warm burner. The oven is big, love the blue color, cooks everything so well. Would definitely recommend this stove to anyone looking for a new stove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the look! I love the built-in feel. The inside is a pretty blue. The storage drawer is not very high but I was able to keep my frying pans, splatter shield and some long grill tongs in it. You do have to be careful of the knobs from turning accidentally. I put oven on bake, set temp and forget to push start so it does not. Eventually I will stop forgetting. The inside of the oven does not fit 2 half baking sheets on the same row. The depth is just a little too shallow, so I think the door does not close completely which is unfortunate. Like the quick heat of the one burner. I wish all were that way. I'm not sure if I like the size of the burner on the front right. I have only used a few times, so far I like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Huge Oven I purchased this oven just before Christmas and was able to cook a huge meal with all the space in the oven. We have been very pleased with all the features and performance of this slide in range. It looks great as well. The only negative comment I have is the control panel. To adjust the oven temp and the minutes on the time you need to use the + and - buttons. We find these to be very hard to set to the correct minutes or degrees. The touch pad either doesn't respond at all or it goes so fast you end up at 600 degrees. It makes me worry that this may be a weak component going forward. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great range so far We love this range so far. The stainless is beautiful. We love the convenience of the front controls, the lockout feature, ultra boil and convection baking. We have used the convection bake feature a couple of times and it appears to bake more evenly. The ultra boil feature brings water to a boil much quicker as well. Matches our LG refrigerator perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Is that a down draft on this range

I noticed in the back there are vents and I wasn't sure if it was down draft or something else
Asked by: Teresa
No, it is a slide in stove and the back is where it vents.
