Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad stitching and wrinkles These curtains looked fine in the plastic container. However, when they were hung I noticed a lot of wrinkles. At first i thought this was due to folding and length of time in the package, and that after hanging a week or so the wrinkles would loosen and straighten out. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and when I decided to take them down and iron them, I noticed that some of the wrinkles were due to bad stitching and bad pressing by the manufacturer. The thread used for the stitching was too heavy and taut for the silken fabric. In places it caused bunching. In other places the stitching had obviously broken or snagged or been uneven and was caught by the sewer who restitched alongside the original stitching but in a way that caused more bunching. And some of the wrinkles had actually been pressed in by poor pressing at the factory and would be very difficult to remedy with a home iron. Liz Claiborne and Penney's should require better quality control than this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in every way. These are so perfect. I got them during the winter months and first used one panel per window and they worked great. As spring approached and light started coming in for a bit longer and earlier they were great for keeping the light out when needed but I wanted to have a bit more to work with so I added some Liz Claiborne Lisette Sheer Panels and one additional grommet panel per window - the result was perfection. I loved the look and feel and it really allowed me to enjoy having my windows open without sacrificing privacy. Now that I have more material I've noticed that my temperature doesn't fluctuate as much as before (during colder months) and I am very pleased with my overall purchase of both items. I picked teal to match a navy blue, teal, and light blue bedspread I had for winter but now I've opted for a brighter look so I purchased the Intelligent Design Lacie Paisley Floral Print quilt/coverlet set and it works beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Satin-looking finish When the drapes arrived, they were, of course, pretty wrinkled, but I didn't bother to iron them because the rod had not yet arrived. When it finally came and I did get around to ironing them, they were a pain in the tush because they were almost the exact width of my ironing board so it took forever to complete each panel, but boy, when I finished with them, it sure was worth it. I had ordered them for my Granddaughter's freshly painted white bedroom to go with her new white, gray, and yellow comforter that I had also purchased from Penney's, and they just set the room off beautifully. The sheen of the fabric gives the drapes an even more expensive look and makes the room look more elegant than I expected them to. If we keep them closed, it has a window-darkening effect, and if we slide them to the side, they let in the light and look terrific as side panels, so we can't go wrong either way. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! These are beautiful drapes. Nice texture and well made. Blocks the light nicely. Just know that the "gold" is more of a khaki. I like them so much that I prefer to re-paint my walls rather than return the drapes. Great quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, room-darkening white curtains, not that gray We ordered these Kathryn curtains in white for my son's nursery, and I tried hanging them even before re-installing the 2" blinds behind them. Without blinds, they don't completely black-out the room, but they make a HUGE difference, especially considering they're white! Also, as noted in JCP's description, the "white" color has a silver/gray undertone, but we didn't find it to be very noticeable in our home (the room has two CREE LED daylight 100-watt-equivalent bulbs under a domed light cover; lights are obviously off in these photos). With the lights on, the curtains aren't noticeably gray beside our bedding (piled on the floor in the photos--sorry) or valance, both of which have large sections of white broadcloth in them. They did appear more gray to me in the store when I held the valance up beside them, so I would recommend taking them home to try before ruling them out for being too gray!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curtains look fabulous and are room darkening. I actually bought these for three rooms in my townhouse. I bought the first pair of curtains for my living room in russet color. After they arrived and I saw how well they look I bought two more sets for my master bedroom in chocolate and for my guest bedroom in seed pearl. The seed pearl is a gorgeous color. It works very well with neutrals/tans/linen colors in the bedroom. I have french doors to the deck that looked too plain and needed something. I found a swag in this line in the same russet color. The curtains are silky and are also room darkening. I put all three on antique bronze rods. This is the first time that I have bought grommet shades and love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice curtain. Put these in all of my downstairs windows. Grommet very easy to work with. Looks lovely paired with a white sheer. Perfect to keep out late afternoon glare if the family wants to watch a movie on TV. Otherwise, I leave them open with the sheers pretty much all day/night. Love the different lengths as well. Hung a pair of 120" to cover two stacked windows in my living room! Looks GREAT! Makes a wonderful focal point!

Can you tell me what color the grommets are? I would like to know so I can order hardware to match. Thank you.

My window measures 50" wide. Do you think that 2 panels will look OK?
