Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Curtains! These curtains are beautiful. I bought four panels and four valances for a 71" wide window. Anything less and they looked skimpy. I hung the valance on a rod that extended past the lower rod and hung it about four inches higher. The valances are too long to hang even. A good value and good quality item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with these valances! I love these valances! The color is very nice and the subtle yellow pattern compliments the purple! Before I hung them up, I put them in the dryer for a few minutes and the wrinkles came out.

HOW MANY OF THE ABOVE FOR WINDOW THAT MEASURES 40'' ACROSS

Asked by: MIKE
You could do it with two, but it would look skimpy. I suggest at least 3 or to look even perhaps 4.

Are these panels room darkening or energy efficient? Thanks.

Asked by: Kellie
They are energy efficient. Depending on the color you choose it can also be room darkening. I chose Claret. Which a rich deep burgundy with gold running through it.

Color of the claret royal velvet geneva

What is the color of the design going through the curtain? It looks gold or white. Also, what color curtain rod is suggested for this?
Asked by: Lindsay
The color is called Claret. It looks like a rich deep burgundy with gold running through it. It gives it a real warm elegant look. I used the Escot Valances with them. Looks great. I used a standard rod to hang them and a longer depth rod for the valances.
