Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for simple coverage Don't know why I waited ten years to buy a new curtain! I almost bought one that was much more expensive at a local retailer. It was nice to learn there was a standard size so it made it easier to know what to buy. I am very happy with it. Some reviews were about the wrinkles, but honestly, it is shipped in a package so it's kind of expected! I have a steamer so I wasn't worried about it, but I haven't seen a need to steam it, just letting it hang itself straight. It arrived quickly and did not take long to put up. When putting your hooks in try a few first and hang to check the length keeping in mind it may get longer when the wrinkles come out. Having a tab-back option is nice if I want to use it on a rod instead. The price was great! It was quick, inexpensive, looks nice and I keep wondering why I didn't replace old curtains that were probably put up in 1971 and were embarrassingly falling apart, much sooner than now. Very, very pleased!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely I ordered a bunch of these panels in silver sage for my bedroom. They are beautiful drapes--perhaps not as good as custom-made, but still quite lovely. (I may be unfairly comparing them to custom-made, hence the "good" quality rating instead of "excellent.") Out of the package they were wrinkled, but I'll steam out the wrinkles if they don't come out by simply letting them hang for awhile. They're light in weight but hang well (better than the non-thermal lined panels). The back tabs make them so easy to hang. Their thermal lining is separate (not fused to the panel fabric) and adds a welcome layer of insulation to my "insulating" top-down-bottom-up shades. The regular price for these panels is too high, but I ordered them during one of JCP's recent sales at 40% off plus "buy 1 get the 2nd for 1 cent" deals: A great buy! I don't know how durable they'll be, but the fabric used is not cheap. And the color I got is lovely: a soft, soothing green. I'm very happy with these panels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but wrinkled I bought the Royal Velvet Supreme curtains many years ago and these are different. The older ones were washable, these are only dry cleanable. The older ones had a thicker lining, these have a thinner lining. The older ones didn't wrinkle hardly at all, these have been hanging for about 9 days already and are still very wrinkled from the packaging. I am thinking about steaming them, but am worried about marks due to the dry clean only label. You can't use the regular pinch pleat pins, but need to use the pointed ends that make holes in the material. I am holding judgement as to if I would order them again. I was only looking for a regular pair of pinch pleat curtains, but no one seems to carry them unless you get them custom made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very happy with drapes After pressing out the wrinkles I hung the drapes. With the outside light shining through, you then noticed the flaws. Some darker green patches running through the fabric. Otherwise you don't see it. As it's in my bedroom I decided to leave it, as no one sees it but me. If they were in any other part of the house I would have returned them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The curtains do not hang well near the bottom of the curtains. The liner on the back of the curtain is visible too much of the time. The curtains will not work with my old curtain rods. My old hooks which are the best for pinch pleat curtains cannot be used with these curtains because the areas where the hooks should just slide in are totally sewn up by the maker of the curtains. If you cut the seam and remove part of the seam, might could slide in the hooks that I had. In the past, I replaced curtains in a bedroom without any issue because the curtains were made correctly so that my hooks would slide right in. The old hooks hold the curtains in place better for a more finished look and you can open and close by use of a draw string.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxury Look I bought these thermal panels for a large dinning room with large windows. I hung them at the 95" length well above the actual window top. They look like expensive linen; there is a thermal backing that is thin on the back of the fabric, along with a white liner, and while the drapes will darken and protect the room from cold and heat... you are able to see the linen-look of the drape. I don't know how they do that! These are a gorgeous, perfect pinch pleat that will stay in a tight accordion fold when opened/pushed to side of windows. I have mine hung on a thick round window treatment pole so they slide easy to close and open. They are very elegant and expensive looking. These drapes are exactly what I had hoped for, looked for and finally found at J.C. PENNEY (JCPENNEY.COM)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I ordered pinch pleated drapes & new hooks. I was disappointed I ordered pinch pleated drapes & new hooks, but the hooks will not fit into the pleats, they are sewed in with the lining. I was not aware of that and now must return the 4 boxes of hooks (qty 14 ea. box) and buy the open hooks. The top of the drapes are not reinforced where the hook is pushed into the fabric and I think after hanging for a year or two they will rip out. I'm very, very disappointed that the associate did not point out the fact that the drapes were different than regular pinch pleated drapes and that the hooks ordered at the same time as the drapes, would not work on the drapes I was buying. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THE DRAPES WITH THIS DESIGN. The drapes are lined pinch-pleat back-tab panels, supreme, energy saving; save up to 30% on heatingt and cooling costs.

Can I have these with drapery pins?

I don't want to hang on the back tab and it states that these can be used with pins, I can't find where to insert pins.
Asked by: Kimberly
You have to use the pins that have the sharp points on them and then just poke it in by the pleat at the top. The old fashioned ones that slide into the pleats will not work on these .

How thick of a rod could I use with these pinch-pleat/back tab curtains? The rods previously had grommet curtains that just fit.

Asked by: Caryn
I think you could use a rod 3" in diameter, if you use the back tab. The back tab is very generous in size. I guess about 4 1/2 inches. If you use the pinch pleat , then the rod is standard. Hope this helps.
