Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this range Oven: the top oven tends to cook like a broiler, even on the bake setting. When cooking with just the bottom oven, food takes longer to bake than it should. With the convection setting, baked goods do not get done in the bottom of the pan, even though the top tests done. Range: the cooktop is difficult to clean, and the instructions say not to use anything abrasive to clean it. How else do you remove stubborn stains? Timer: the timer sound is so faint that I cannot hear it in the family room, which is adjacent to the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double duty! I love my slide in range. The oven is great, I replaced a double oven with this and because my Samsung has Flex Duo I don't miss them at all. It seems that the lower oven takes longer to heat than the upper portion while using the flex duo cooking option, but not enough to matter while coordinating times. The stove top is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. I found that I lean to reach my Samsung over the range microwave and it would "wake up" the oven so the "lock" function works like a charm. Now, no more inadvertent "wake ups". A beautiful design. So glad we went with Samsung.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from too many flaws Spent a lot of money on what looks like a good machine...WRONG....only 2 months old, light use, and both mother boards failed, needed to be replaced, tech advised possible "recall"; and then the touch pad came apart..."design flaw". The beeper is too quiet to hear, the stove top heats up the whole kitchen, lacks easy convection conversion,...too bad you can't test drive these things. Now dealer won't replace what is a "refurbished machine", bought at full price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Great - But Partition Sensor Sticks/ Radiant Surface Elements Overheat/Electric Plug Position May Need to Be Moved I love most things about this oven. The design is sleek. Love the warming drawer and the ability to divide the oven. Absolutely love the gliding rack. I have had a few challenges though. 1- The partition design relies on a sensor in the back of the oven, which does not retract properly after a bit of use. I have had two service calls on this. Evidently the moisture in the food makes it "rust". 2 - The surface elements operate at higher temp than expected, so you need to adjust your settings. For example, medium heat would be 3 not 5 on 10 point scale 3 - Be sure to check where your electricity plug is before your installation. It needs to be near the floor. I had to make an emergency call to the electrician because I was not prepared for that. I am hoping the problems are in the past now. My Samsung microwave needed a service call at first too - but its worked well since then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Range Arrived December 2nd, 2013. Got a text from my wife the next day: "I just made the most beautiful cookies of my life" This range has a great design and looks terrific in our kitchen. But more importantly than that, it cooks evenly. It does exactly what it says it will do. Things I like about it are: * Flex Duo. We can use the divider to partition the oven space. By doing so, we can just preheat a small portion of the oven and not the whole thing. Works great for things like pizza and saves energy. * Steam clean. The steam clean feature is really cool. Does a good job and again, saves energy by allowing us to clean the oven in 20 minutes. (There's also the full oven cleaning cycle, but we'll now use it less often). * The control panel. The control panel is gorgeous, intuitive and responsive. It's nice that it only shows items that are available, and hides items that are not. This makes it fast and easy to get things done without having to search through a bunch of clutter * The knobs. The knobs give the stove a really high-end feel and are precise and intuitive to use, even for things like the griddle bridge or the burner where you can select a pan size. * The slide-out rack. Love this rack... it slides. It's a simple convenience, but now I'll miss it when using other ovens. All in all. This is a great unit. Very pleased and would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Performance The stove top is very hot. Unable to get burners low enough to simmer, they continue to boil. I had a smooth top range before and I find this top very difficult to clean. Seems to soil easily and difficult to get spots off. I find the oven extremely frustrating. It never registers the temp it is set for. Indicates it is a set temp when it is not when preheating. If the divider is in it the bottom oven does not get to temp set for, but remains much lower. Takes longer for product to be done. For example took bars 10 to 15 min longer to get done than in previous stove oven, and they were less successful. Oven was set on bake. Another time oven set at bake 350 and highest thermometer went was about 313. With divider in the top oven seems to run hot, but could that be because it is a small space?? Runs about 25 degrees hotter. The oven seems to work best without the divider. A technician was here and was uncertain it could function any better. I have been baking and using an oven for 50+ years and have never had a problem with an oven before. I find this oven very frustrating. I do not feel the divider accomplishes what I would have expected. I would appreciate a call from Samsung about this issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful Range After a bad experience with my last range, I decided to purchase this range to ensure I would have a dependable cooking source. I got through Thanksgiving smoothly. The week before Christmas, ready to bake cookies for a Christmas eve party I am hosting for 20 people, I decided to clean the oven first. Bad Idea! It locked up and never opened again. When I called for service, I was told I had to wait until Jan 8 for service. I know its the holidays, but asking anyone to wait 3 weeks to use their oven that is barely 2 months old, is really pushing it. Very very disappointed in the expensive unit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this is the best oven I have ever owned I have owned this oven for 9 months now. I just cooked a full Christmas turkey dinner using it. It was the first time I used all the features including the warming drawer, the burner bridge, and the convection roast feature. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot, including having very warm plates to serve the food on! The duoflex oven feature is amazing for 2 people but the full size oven is incredibly spacious for a self cleaning oven and convection oven. Bigger than my old non self clean and non convection oven from 20 years ago. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. My only criticism is the digital control panel on the front that I occasionally touch without intending to and the warming drawer comes on accidentally. Pretty minor issue.
