Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants Okay, so I'm going to try to write this review so that it will be helpful in your decision on whether or not to purchase these. Saying things like these pants were too long but not telling us your height doesn't help one little bit so I'm going to tell you a wee bit about myself. I'm 5'5" and I wear a size 16. I work in an office where we dress semi casual. These pants are great for that! At 5'5" the first time I put these pants on they were a little long but, I decided to wash them because they are made of "mostly" cotton and low and behold as soon as I washed them they shrank up! If you wear pumps they are a great length. If you wear flats and you're 5'5" they are a great length (well maybe a tad long as my legs even at 5'5" tend to be a little on the long side), if you wear high heeled loafers with socks they are little short (your socks might peek out when you are walking) but they are passable. They do run a tiny bit on the small side. I wear a size 16 and these are all W=Wide and they are very close to being snug so I would say if you are firmly in one size or you already wear a wide in the size you're in, you might want to go up one size because again, these are made mostly with cotton and they will shrink after washing. They also fade so don't let that be a surprise for you. If you want to keep them from fading and you like the longer length, dry clean them. If you want them short, wash and then dry them in the dryer. If you want them to be shorter but you want them to keep their color, wash them once to shrink them and then only dry clean them. You get the idea! For the money they are a good value as they are well made and can we worn with many different types of shoes and tops. Great "go to" pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fit! Very comfortable! Excellent fit: I have trouble finding pants that fit everywhere. If I can get them to fit my legs properly, I'll turn around in the mirror and see that the back of the waist is halfway down my butt. These fit PERFECTLY everywhere. I also hate pants that are tight on my calves - these are perfect. I ordered the "short" length with my fingers crossed and they are just right. So glad they're not too short or not too long. Just right! Super comfortable: I bent down to put some pots in my kitchen cabinet and thought, "WOW these are stretchy!" I haven't had pants this comfortable in a long, long time. I'm glad I found these. I'm losing weight, so hopefully it will be easy to just log back in and order the next size down when these get too big. Con for some of us... The material is like velcro for cat hair, so choose your colors carefully if you have any fur in your home. I'm not sure I'll be able to wear the black pair I bought without using several sheets of lint roller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from St Johns Stretch My first pant was the black. I tried them on and they fitted tight. But after that they were worn they became very comfortable. They only problem I noticed was washing the pant, it shrunk in length. Each time I had to stretch them after each washing when they are damp and then hang them to dry for them to keep the length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally - pants that almost fit me I have such a hard time finding pants that fit. I'm a really short plus size and my waist is 10" smaller than my hips. Usually when pants fits my thighs and hips the waist looks like a hula hoop on me. Also, everything needs to be hemmed, even the short/petite pants. I almost cried when I put these on because they fit better than anything else I tried. The short length was much longer than most short length pants so I'll have to hem them by 5-6". There's a slight gap at the waist (maybe 1") but no hula hoop. A long shirt can cover any gaps there. The fit was a little loose but not enough to go down a size and not baggy. The fabric feels very durable, almost a heavyweight material, and isn't rubbery at all. I do wish the petite pants came in the plus size so the pants would be proportioned a little better but overall I think these will be awesome with only a few alterations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like the fabric... I had to go up one size higher than what I normally wear in their jeans. So I am glad I purchased them in the store. I really like the fabric. It is stretchy, yet thick. The nice thickness gives good coverage over chunky legs. It has the comfort of stretch jeans paired with a business look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like the fabric but have to return I feel like I am in a strange size. I am plus size but mostly in my waist. My legs and bottom aren't very "plus". These pants fit wonderfully around the waist and would have been very comfortable but I must return. Everything besides the waist was baggy and unflattering. Bootcut pants should be a little snug in the thigh and come out just a tad to allow for boots! On me these were basically wide leg pants. It's a shame because I really like the feel of the fabric.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pants look old fashioned these pants look a little like old lady pants, like Alfred Dunner or something. legs are a little billowy. I'll keep them but I'm not too impressed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't begin to fit Although I purchased my correct size; they didn't begin to go over my hips.

Is there any stretch to this blouse?

Asked by: Sybie
While I would not use the word "stretch", the material is a very soft cotton and does have some give to it.
