Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THESE PANTS Love Love Love these pants! I'm a curvy fit & I had purchased misses size 8 in navy, black & white for work. I am 5ft 6" & they fit and look great on with high heels. I was going traveling overseas & knew I would be walking (a lot!!) so I decided to buy the the misses 8 short in navy, black & white to go with flat shoes. These worked perfectly & I could dress them up with a sparkle top or dress them down with a tank top (and anywhere in between). The bottoms didn't get soggy in the rain which would have happened with the misses size in flat shoes. I was disappointed that the white pants are made of a different fabric & don't fall as nicely & it shows creases more easily - I spent HOURS online & in the store trying to find the "same pants" in white as the blue & black pair until I read the description which states: dark gray windowpane: polyester/rayon white: cotton/spandex other colors: polyester/rayon/spandex However I wear the white pair A LOT and I would buy them again. Hoping that they will have other colors available soon including a navy which isn't so dark (most of the color choices were blocked out) and have a white pair made out of polyester/ rayon/ spandex. I bought these when JCPenny had a discount code so they were a GREAT price! Did I mention I LOVE these pants!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the heck happened? I've been wearing these pants for the last 10 years. First off I've never had to wear a plus size in this brand. I wear a 18 or used too. I bought another pair online & they fit but were a little tight. I decided to try the 18w, which I couldn't even button. I however can button the 18's of my older pants I bought at beginning of year. So basically my old 18's fit but the store 18w don't. I ended up buying 22w that fit but are big in the weirdest places. They didn't have a 20w. I agree with other ladies as the cut in the thigh area has gotten smaller. What??? The kicker is I've been losing weight. This is not helping my mind set. Haha. I have been a jcp shopper for a long time and the sizing in everything is simply way off now. There is no point ordering online. You could wear a XL in something & another thing you need plus size. Seriously this is a problem. I've bought two pairs of the same pants, different colors, & only one fits. Figure that out??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look like Old Lady pants, make you look hippy unless they are skin tight/size too small! I bought Petite size 10. I have no idea why this should be, but the pockets of these pants are attached into the inseam causing a BUMP on the upper outer thigh right below the hips. It made me look hippy and fat where I am not fat! This occurred in the modern fit and the curvy fit both. You can see it even when they are hanging on a hangar. The WAIST is TOO HIGH, even in the petites (I'm 5'3") which is never a problem for me in petites. Actually, usually petites are too short in the rise. These look like old lady pants and are not flattering. I don't want skin tight dress pants in order to get rid of the "bumps" from the pocket attachment. How disappointing! The OLD Worthington pants from a few years ago were wonderful. Those were slimming, slight flares, nicer material and they fit perfectly all the way up and down. And, you could actually find SHORT lengths in the store back then. I need misses SHORT and none of the stores carry them within 50 miles of my home. Penneys: Bring back the old Worthington dress pants, flared, and with a shorter rise, and try to stock some SHORT lengths in your stores!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved pants but fit is considerably off. Ordered Curvy Fit because it showed thigh measurment and thigh fit fine, However, knee was severely cut in so was too tight. Obviously, if the tight needs to be larger then the knee should also be larger. Returned the items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unfortunately I love the curvy fit pants. After years of waist gaposis, I recently found that a petite curvy fit was just the size I needed. Unfortunately, I did not know that petites also came with the size number and an"s" for short. My fault that I had to return the trousers. I now have my size without the "s" for my upcoming cruise. Thank you for clothing that FITS! Love the new pocket styling. Keeps the cell phone and other things in. Very good styling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I ordered several and one pair fits much larger I already owned a pair of these and so I thought I knew what size I was. However, I ordered these in black, grey and black & white chain colors. And the black and grey pair fit exactly how I expected. The black & white chain color seems to be at least two sizes larger than the other pairs. The black & white chain are made out of a different fabric that feels more durable so they would likely last longer than the others. I'm going to return this pair and order a couple sizes of the black and white chain to see which one fits the best. I will update this once I figure out how far off the sizing is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curvy fit womens short I was desperate for new colors in 12 petite short curvy fit, so I ordered two pair of women's 12 short, in gray and navy. Unfortunately, they were at least three inches too long, compared to my preferred women's 12 petite short. However the quality of the fabric and the price were so wonderful I decided to keep them, although I had to shorten them. I checked first to make sure the knee placement would be okay and it seems the length difference was mostly from the knee down, so the pants looked fine when shortened. I'm 5'2''. The 12s and 10s both fit me, but I like the comfort of the 12s, as I need give when I bend down at work. I will order more in 12 petite short when they are in stock, but for now I made do with the women's 12 short. (Most folks aren't aware there is a 12 petite short, which is shorter than 12 petite.) More colors in 12 P short needed, please. Beautiful design all around.

I need to know if these pants are loose fit.

I recently ordered the modern fit pants and the waist and hips fit but it was tight in the thighs . it looked like bell-bottom pants. Therefore, I want to know if the curvy fit pants is more loose than the modern fit.
Asked by: deeedee
Yes Curvy fit is looser

Misses vs. Short vs. Tall. is it just the inseam length?

Is the difference between Misses, Short and Tall just the hem length or are there also proportional adjustments? I'm not short, I'm 5'8", but I don't wear high heels, so the "Short" 31-inch inseam would be better for me. Will the rest of the pant fit like a regular Misses size?
Asked by: sqpeg
I'm 5'7" and I wear short because I also do not wear heels. They fit perfectly and I definitely have curves.
