Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great career pants!! I have several pairs of these pants and love them! I need a straight fit in the hip and thigh areas, and these fit me just about right since I'm not at all a "curvy fit". (I finally figured out that I need to avoid curvy and relaxed fits like the plague, as they don't work for my body type at all). I would have given these pants 5 stars if they came just a tad bit higher on the waist. I prefer to leave the lower cut pants to the younger girls, as they only give me a "muffin top". I came back here to buy more and found (as usual) that my size is either back-ordered or not available. JCP you need to ramp up your inventory on these pants!! Also, please offer them in more colors like: khaki or tan, dark grey (for winter months), and a lighter brown (such as Lt Cocoa) for the spring/summer months. I have found no other career pants that fit me as well as these--and believe me, I've done lots of searching and shopping. Please make more effort at keeping these in stock and providing more colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice dress, casual slacks to suit any occasion My package arrived in timely fashion. Neatly folded, I ordered two pairs in the colors of flax and industrial grey. Easily coordinates with a variety of shoes, shirts and blouses. They were a bit longer than expected as I ordered Misses regular in size 8; they also fit a little bigger as I have to wear a belt. But I won't return because overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. I like how I'm able to create either casual or business look with these pants. I definitely got good value for the quality, especially with the addition of the rewards, discounts and coupons. For the price I would've bought a couple more in different colors, but I wasn't sure how they would fit. At least now I know for future orders. Thanks JCPenney!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good These pants are sized correctly in terms of length. The legs are too wide though. Corp. JCP, why are Tall sizes not sold in the stores? We need tall sizes in the stores so we'll have the option to try on clothes before purchasing them - like all of your other customers. Please answer this question.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect to size For years I have had trouble ordering pants. Other companies don't fit the same even when they say the same size. These pants are always the same so it makes it easy to order online . I'm 5'2" so reg is way to long petites are great with heals and petite shorts go great with flats. I don't like the skinny leg styles so the trouser legs suit me better. They even have a little flare to the leg which is more of my style. I like the loose fit but its not baggy. Its a great look for my profession, stylish but not too sexy lol. Plus you can't beat the price. Most the time they are on sale. They last for many washes. I have one pair I bought 5 months ago. It was right after my baby so my smaller sizes didn't fit. I washed them almost every other day for 3 months and never had to iron them. Caution, dry inside out. I guess one pair got to hot in the dryer in one spot and kinda fringed the material. Like permanent lent? So now I make sure I dry them inside out to avoid that happening again.over all these are great pants and I haven't found anything better so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best fitting trousers I love these pants. I ordered them in denim and they're perfect. Looks like a classy pair of jeans. They seem to be true to size and don't have stretch to them. The length of the pants are perfect to be worn with a nice pair of wedges, and I'm 5"8. I recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice fit I recently purchased these in brown and navy in a size 2 short. It is very hard to find pants that fit me as I have a long torso, shorter legs, and thicker thighs. These pants fit the bill. I had tried a size petite in the store and those were super tight in the thighs, but then I remembered that you could sometimes get pants from JCP.com in a "short" length instead of petite. Glad I went online, since they didn't have any "short" lengths in the store. These pants honestly fit like a glove. I am 5'4 and 135lbs and they are more form fitting but in a flattering way, and they actually have a little stretch to them which is really nice. I only have two tiny complaints: 1) They are a little bit too long for me. If you wear heels with them, you should be ok, but if you wear flats and are shorter than 5'4, they will probably drag a little on the ground. 2) The material is very lightweight and while that doesn't really bother me too much, I hope they hold up well in the wash...I guess time will tell. Overall, though, very nice career pants. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pockets create bumps on the upper thigh!!! Not like the old Worthington pants!! I bought Petite size 10. I have no idea why this should be, but the pockets of these pants are attached into the inseam causing a BUMP on the upper outer thigh right below the hips. It made me look hippy and fat where I am not fat! This occurred in the modern fit and the curvy fit both. I think they may have been a very little loose right there, but the rest of the pants would be too tight to go down a size. The waist is too HIGH, even in the petites (I'm 5'3") which is never a problem for me in petites. Actually, usually petites are too short in the rise. These look like old lady pants and are not flattering. I don't want skin tight dress pants in order to get rid of the "bumps" from the pocket attachment. How disappointing! The OLD Worthington pants from a few years ago were wonderful. Those were slimming, slight flares, nicer material and they fit perfectly all the way up and down. And, you could actually find SHORT lengths in the store back then. I need misses SHORT and none of the stores carry them within 50 miles of my home. Penneys: Bring back the old Worthington dress pants, flared, and with a shorter rise, and try to stock some SHORT lengths in your stores!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THE WAY THEY FIT & LOOK I bought a pair of these in the store - the last pair in my size (6P). I loved them so much that I went online and bought several more pairs on Black Friday & got a great deal. I am about 130lbs & 5'5 with a small waist and curvy hips & somewhat thick thighs. I wear: "Petites: 6 Petites" and they fit just perfect! The length is surprising perfect as well, finally a pair of slacks I don't have to get hemned which is wonderful! As far as the fit in the thighs, they are perfect for me. I didn't find them to be too tight like another customer mentioned. Everybody's body is different, so what may obviously work for one an individual - may not for another. I absolutely love these slacks & I hope they continue to keep these because I have finally found the perfect fit. The price is great, when on sale. I love the trouser style, because I believe it to be more slimming on a curvy body - you get more of a straight look.

What is the difference between short and petite sizes in women's pants?

I am interested in Worthington Modern Fit Pants sizes 10 short and 10 petite. I usually buy the misses size 10 because the rise on a 10 petite is too short on me.
Asked by: Snuggles
I bought the tall so the rise would fit me. Petite has a shorter rise than short which only has a shorter leg length.

Real Pockets

Do these pants have real pockets or just a little change pocket? I can't tell from the picture.
Asked by: lizbry
They have side pockets. Not real deep, but more than just slit pockets on some dress pants.

What is the inseam of the misses regular

Asked by: Shopluv
The size chart for the item will tell you this information. I have found this can very with different slacks so it is best to verify this before you order.
