Rated 1 out of 5 by from So stiff it damages teeth I've used these brushes for 10 years. I don't have benefits so rarely visit a dentist & rely on good brushing habits to protect my teeth. But at my most recent visit, I learned that there is now a groove in my teeth because of how stiff the bristles are! I've always applied very little pressure while brushing so I know that it's not my fault. Unfortunately Phillips doesn't make a variety of stiffnesses in a compact head so I will now be buying a different brand of toothbrush. If you value your teeth, DO NOT BUY THESE BRUSHES!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These toothbrush heads are great! I have been using these toothbrush heads (or their equivalent) for about eight years. When I get bummed out about how expensive these toothbrush heads are, I try using a regular toothbrush. It only takes once and I'm back to forking out the money for these heads. They clean my teeth really well. What more could you ask for? When I first started using this electric toothbrush it seemed a bit loud. However, because I was trying to save money, I bought the store generic toothbrush heads. These literally left my ears ringing! I've tried three different stores' heads and none are even close to relative quietness of the Philips toothbrush head. I highly recommend these toothbrush heads if you like clean feeling teeth without the ringing in your ears!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps my teeth VERY clean! After having used the standard size head for roughly four years, this last three months between cleanings I have used this compact head. My three month cleaning is in five days, and my teeth feel as clean as they did right after my last cleaning. Along with products that I use between my teeth, this compact head is keeping my teeth VERY clean. I feel I have much more control with it. I have been told that I already do a great job keeping my teeth clean, and I look forward to hearing what is said to me this next cleaning. Honestly, I even believe my bottom front teeth feel tighter. --I have some bone loss around them, but have been stable since I got this deep scraping done four years ago. I thought they had gotten as tight as they were going to get, but after these three months, they really feel tighter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot insert into the motorized part took my toothbrush to the dentist who sells them to patients. they called to learn if there were different receptors for heads. Answer was no. I have tried 3 different packs of new heads and not been able to install anything except the head which was originally on my unit. I used it more than a year and finally gave up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have recommended this compact head many years. As a hygienist, I have been pleased with Sonicare for well over 20 years and have particularly recommended the compact head for many due to their obvious inability to get a larger head: 1. in their mouth, 2. too long of a brush feels like they are getting everywhere but they are not, 3. the smaller head makes a patient pay more attention to what they are doing and "auto-pilot" is less of a problem, 4. and they seem to like it - great for bruxers that have tight cheek muscles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used for years. I've used this product for years and get good dental check-up because of it. However, the head on this particular refill seems very small. I used a larger head prior to this, maybe, its my mistake but I'm hot happy with this one. I will continue to use Phillips dental care brushes as they work.
