Rated 3 out of 5 by from Densely packed bristles = toothpaste buildup I am a long-time Philips Sonicare user. The DiamondClean model is the fourth I've owned. While the DiamondClean brush cleans teeth effectively, I find it less desirable than my older model Sonicare brushes. It is not as gentle on my gums (sensitive teeth and slight gum recession) compared to other models I have used. Also, the design of this brush allows old toothpaste and gunk to accumulate deep in the bristles. There isn't enough space between the bristles to effectively rinse them thoroughly at the end of each brushing session. The accumulation is unsightly and probably not very hygienic. I have never run into this problem with any of the older models of Sonicare I used, or with manual toothbrushes. While the brush size is noted as "standard", it feels more like the size they used to call "compact" with my older models of Sonicare. I prefer the larger size brushes and older designs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a product! I was asked awhile ago to write an honest review of their product but it was rejected because Phillips did not like my honest review so when I was asked again to write an honest review, I figured what a better way to write one than to give statements and again leaving it to the honest judges to decide if this should be posted. I think that every recommendation listed on this page are valid and judge that the Sonic toothbrushes are the absolute best fitting brush for their product as the outstanding product of the year. I absolutely love how I have to replace the brushes every 3 months so I can have plaque reduced teeth at a cost that is unspeakable due to submission guidelines.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great but expensive I noticed a big difference in th cleanliness of my teeth the first time I used this product *BUT* I never typically brush my teeth as long as this product calls for either. Either way my teeth felt much smoother and cleaner. The only complaint I have is that the price of the brush heads don't really have a place in my families budget. They're just too expensive and had I researched that part before hand I would not have made the initial purchase. It works great but the maaintenance costs isn't worth it...for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as clean The Diamond Clean does not work as well as the other head I had for this tooth brush. It is way better than a manual tooth brush but it does not feel my teeth are as clean as my last set of brush heads that had blue and white bristles

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Standard sonic toothbrush heads I am not pleased with this product. The bristles become splayed very soon in their usage. I can't believe they are doing a thorough cleaning. Disappointing, to say the least.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tooth knocking brush. This is the only head for a Philips DiamondClean top-of-the-line brush. I have no complaints except for one major flaw. The brush head is made out of hard plastic only. No soft rubber backing. Every time the brush back contacts your teeth, it buzzes your whole head. Very irritating. Other than that, it works perfectly well, even if the cost is excessive. If cost was a great concern, you would have bought a different brush anyhow...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diamond Clean Brush Heads are Terrible I have used Sonicare for about 5 years. I was unable to get my standard brush head last month and had to purchase the diamond point head. Bad news! The main problem I have with this brush head is the green diamond bristles in the center of the head. They stick up past the surrounding bristles; they are very stiff and densely packed. When I use this brush, the center bristles buff my teeth, but, since they stick out past the surrounding bristles, the surrounding bristles never hit my teeth, between the teeth or the gum line. The condition of my teeth and gums deteriorated in the ten days I used this head; it was almost as if I had not brushed at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK, nothing outstanding The brushes go with the brush that is supposed to do fantastic things to your teeth. I don't really see that the claims are valid. The cost of replacement brushes is way too high after already spending so much money on the brush itself. Brushes should be provided free for life.
