Rated 5 out of 5 by RollyP from Works Great! I purchased the H7 about 6 months ago and it's worked like a charm every time. I only had one time where I had to take out the battery to reset the unit. My iPhone apps (Runtastic, Endomondo and Runkeeper) had no problems connecting to the HRM and giving an accurate BPM to the apps. The H7 HRM strap does not track mileage or calories (as another reviewer claims) but strictly monitors your heart rate and communicates this information to another Bluetooth device (such as your smartphone or watch) and that device passes the information to the app. In my case, my H7 connects to my iPhone and relays the HRM data to my Runtastic app. I've also connected my Runtastic app with MyFitnessPal app, so that training info is also passed on seamlessly and automatically. I've enclosed screenshots from iPhone apps that I always use: - PolarBeat for actual configuring and pairing of the H7 strap - Runtastic for displaying my heart rate during my workouts - MyFitnessPal for tracking my exercise that is passed on automatically by Runtastic

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leviatancr from Pairing Issue Solved I bought the H7 and it works perfect. It is tricky the pairing but I solved. It turns out that with my phone (iphone 6 plus) when I did the pairing as a normal bluetooth device and MISTAKE, all you have to do is do the pairing from the APP not from the Settings on your phone, if you do the pairing from your phone as any other device the H7 will not work. If you do it from the APP it will work. Dont be afraid that it doest appear on your bluetooth devices list because it doesnt, why? I dont know, I just know that I turn on the bluetooth (after pairing obviously) open the APP and automatically the H7 is on the APP visible and paired, after that I turn on my Jaybird´s X2 buds and they work fine... For me the app is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rgcrt from Don't waste your money Wife and i each owned and used H7 in daily workouts. Worked great with old app on Android. New app came out and hasn't worked since. even purchased new H7 thinking older version was the problem. Will not stay connected to Polar App. just finished working out and amazingly my HR was constant at 114 for 23 minutes then jumped to 127 for the next 19 minutes. at least according to the app. I do cardio circuit with weights and HR varies significantly depending on intensity and rest breaks. Don't waste your money if you want to monitor your HR effectively.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bobby4978 from Okay device but could be much better This device is okay at best. In terms of accuracy, there is no question that a chest strap is the most accurate but this device takes a while to start reading. I moisten the chest strap sensor and it still takes up to 10 mins to accurately and reliably record my heart rate. The strap it self is poorly designed. The latching mechanism is terrible and it often comes off during an intense work out. Finally, its almost impossible to get the device open to change the battery. Very basic design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FitzoneByErika from Great Until Time to Replace Battery The battery compartment is the most aggravating part of the Bluetooth sensor. Getting it open & then after so many times, it becomes increasingly harder. I even take mine in to a professional & it still eventually strips. I have had to buy another one because of this. Polar definitely needs to make the battery rechargeable or include a key to open the back. I do LOVE the tracking & the PolarBeat app and unfortunately, will probably buy another when I can no longer open the back again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by lilulisa from Works great & pairs w/ my A300, but uncomfortable! I was really excited about this product and the Bluetooth capabilities. They hit the nail on the head with that capability. But I am experiencing chafing every time I wear the chest strap with this sensor and go for a run! How uncomfortable! I feel like I have a permanent mark on my chest. It has to be something with the shape of the sensor because the old sensor doesn't bother me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BenV from Pairing issue going on for years with Android phones of many different versions!!! Seems like they don't work right out of the box, or they work for a couple of minutes, hours, days or months and THEN die. But end result is the same. They DON'T work consistently with Android. Hangs several times in the middle of a training session. Please please please do not waste your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MauricioPP from Good results, but not under water. I bought a H7 heart rate sensor and I am very happy with the results of my conventional training with my Polar Loop 2. The problem is when I swim. The Bluetooth transmission doesn't work. The specification says: "Transfers heart rate information while swimming with products which support 5 kHz transmission" What are the Polar products that support 5kHz transmission?
