Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks lovely, BUT we feel like we're sliding off of it onto the floor. There must be something wrong with the construction because the seating area feels like it's angled downward, resulting in the feeling that we could slide off the couch onto the floor. It's really taking away all the joy we should be feeling at having a beautiful new couch! This is not something we could have predicted when it was delivered, so we're not sure who we can call about this strange difficulty! We would appreciate a call from someone!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sofa for the price I ordered this sofa skeptically as I'm very particular about shades of red and some online colors can be misleading. While it took about 6 weeks for the sofa to be delivered it was totally worth it. I LOVE these couches. They are extremely comfortable, solid, and most importantly, the perfect shade of deep red I was hoping for. We've only had them for a few days but so far I am extremely happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend this sofa style, fabric, and the berry color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeding all expectations! I bought three of Possibilities Fabric Roll-Arm Sofas in Top Hat fabric in Berry color, placed order in November and choose delivery for January. The delivery guys called 3 days before the delivery then worked with me on delivery date and time. It was a very professional process all the way from ordering till delivery and the sofas are great in each way, they look very very nice, fabric and quality is exceptional and size and comfort is way more than I have paid for in the past. Overall these are best of the best for this price and my whole family loves them including our cat, yet pet hair are very easy to clean with vacuum attachment. I waited to post this review and now its been five months since these sofas are in heavy use, still looking great and very very comfy. I am very satisfied with this purchase and can recommend to my pickiest family members and friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but It Sags in the Middle I bought this couch 3 years ago as a replacement for my first sofa. I kept returning to this choice during months of looking. The pros: the fabric (we went with the microfiber) has held up well under the use of 3 very tall, active teens and 4 housepets. It is slightly taller than many other sofas, a plus for my long-legged family, and easier to get off of than many other choices we've looked at. The style looks good in just about any room. Now the cons: about a year ago, the sofa seat began sagging. It is not so much a cushion issue as it is the portion of the frame with springs holding up the cushions. I'm hoping to find a way to either fix or modify this problem, as I still really like the couch and had intentions of using it for 25 years, just like my last one. I'm a big Penneys supporter, so I am hoping they will remedy the situation in future versions of this sofa.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible furniture Do NOT buy unless you are not actually going to be sitting on it very often. I originally bought Lane furniture from JCP and within a year the frame broke and they replaced it, well guess what? It happened again so I had to pick a different furniture. JCP didn't really have any options I liked (most of it was contemporary, not my taste) so I found this furniture and got it in chocolate. The furniture looked good, but once you actually sat on it and used it on a daily basis, forget about it. The cushions were already flattened after using for a month so you can imagine how they are after a year, HORRIBLE!!! It feels like you are sitting on the floor especially when you have to stand up. I would never recommend this furniture. I don't have the money to replace furniture every year, sooo disappointed. I've had to deal with garbage furniture for over 3 years now:(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Just OK" Sofa My new Possibilities sofa was delivered today. I chose this sofa because I couldn't find the style I wanted in a color I liked and this was a great idea. My first impression was that I loved the color.....identical to the swatch on the website. But I was really disappointed in the fabric. I got the Lindy style because it looked a little textured but smoother than this sofa. The fabric resembles burlap and looks cheap....very cheap! Not sure how it will hold up. Both of my daughters have the same opinion....nice sofa, great color, ugly fabric. The pillows and back cushions are loosely stuffed. The sofa itself seems well constructed. Overall, wouldn't recommend the sofa in the Lindy fabric....unless you're looking for burlap! I wanted to be so excited to have a new piece of furniture and feel that it's "just OK"

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for the first year. This is the second piece of furniture purchased from JCP. First, I bought a beautiful blended leather set and within a year, two of the pieces had fabric that was shedding like crazy. JCP graciously took my pieces back and gave me credit for a new piece. So, I bought the Possibilities sofa. Again, after a year, it has not held up. Fabric is fine, but bottom cushions have majorly sunk and this throws off the balance of the top cushions. The adults in my home who use the sofa are average size adults using it on a daily basis for evening tv watching. Nothing out of the norm here. I am really bummed, as I am having to replace a sofa again. I will not buy furniture from JCP again unless I want something inexpensive that will only last for 2 years, tops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy I saw this sofa online and liked it very much but wanted to see the fabrics and colors in person, so I visited my local JCP store. I loved it in the store and decided to buy. I ordered mine in the Top Hat fabric, which is a very fine-wale corduroy, in the Tobacco color. The fabric is so very soft and the sofa itself is so comfortable I fall asleep each time I put head back. It's too early to rate the durability, but if it lasts nearly as long as my previous JCP sofa did (17 years), I'll be a very happy girl. And the delivery service was a dream. I live in a high-rise condo with lots of restrictions and they were just great about complying and they were in and out in 10 mins.

Are the back cushions attached? I'm concerned about them not staying in place while sitting on the sofa!

Asked by: Terry
As long as the unattached cushions stay in place they may be a good thing. Flipping the cushions AND rotating them every month or even every week can help maintain their shape. Equalizes wear as well.

how to put legs on?

Asked by: likesto
The delivery men attached the legs after they delivered my sofa and I wasn't really paying attention to how they did it. I think they just screwed them in, but not entirely sure.

what is the height of the back cushion

I am 5 9 and some of the comments indicate that the sitting may be to shallow for a person of my height
Asked by: funnygirl
Not sure of the height, but we just received this collection and the height of the back cushion works perfect for us all...my husband is 6'2" and I'm 5'5".
