Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfies my "romance"/shabby chic theme Cons first: - If you are expecting white with a floral pattern (I wasn't due to a review on another website), you will be disappointed. It is a beige or maybe what some would call a light ivory or antique white. That's what I wanted so this is a "pro" for me, however the picture is misleading. - I'm not crazy about the doily ribbon type of edge but I can live with it. - The fabric on the front is a little scratchy. Kinda feels like those white linen suits you wear and they wrinkle as soon as you sit down. - The back fabric, while softer, is a reddish-pink stripe which I don't like. There is a shower curtain that goes with this set that shows this pattern along its top. I can't post 3 pics so you will have to google "Piper & Wright Rosalie" (not "Rosalind", this is a typo on JCP's site) to find the shower curtain since JCP doesn't sell it as of today. - I wish the green in the floral pattern was a little more muted as well as the red. I was looking for a soft pink overall. - The pillow shams are a little odd. At first, they look oversized but they are stitched so that there is about a 2" edge around where the actual pillow is. You can see this in one of my pics. - The bed skirt feels more like a sheet than your typical skirt, which tends to be a thicker, more durable material. I didn't bother to put it on and just kept my old one on. That all being said, finding a shabby chic/romance floral pattern comforter set, esp a good quality set, is VERY challenging. I've been looking for years to replace another one. I was excited to find this one and after it arrived, decided to order a 2nd set as backup after what I've been through. So, pros: - It's good quality, puffy, large, and I feel cozy wrapped up in it as opposed to a few I've purchased at other stores in recent years. - While the colors aren't perfect, it's still very pretty. I even bought the shower curtain, cut off the red/pink striping, and sewed a pocket for a rod to make a roman shade for my master bath. Tips: For whatever reason, the Queen and/or King option/button disappears off and on on JCP's site. It's not like when it's out of stock and they put an "X" through it, it just totally disappears. I've had to report this multiple times so if you are looking for either size and don't see the option, please know it does exist and contact JCP. Also, the queen is so large that my very spacious front-loader machines could barely handle it. Be prepared for that if you get a queen or king.
