I have several pieces of stoneware from Pampered Chef, and you are not even supposed to use soap on them let alone put them in the dishwasher. The description says dishwasher safe. Is that because it's coated where the food is contained?
Thank you for your great question, lovetoshop. The Rachael Ray® 3½-qt. Rectangle Casserole Baking Dish's durable stoneware construction features a bold color and distinctive flared edges. To clean your stoneware, wash with warm soapy water and a soft nylon brush; rinse and dry. We recommend using a mild dishwashing detergent. To prevent water spotting, rinse in warm water after washing and towel dry thoroughly.
