Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Dresser! I was hesitant about ordering furniture without being able to see the value and quality. I am glad I didn't pass this up. There are multiple pieces but I was able to put it together by myself in an hour (minus lifting to put the base on due to being pregnant). December 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Serves multiple purposes We liked this piece because it serves as a changing table as well as shelves for baby toys and changing supplies. This means it takes up less space in the baby's room, yet serves multiple purposes. July 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad choice We were very disappointed because this dresser is not the good quality we usually get from JC Penney. We bought this dresser to replace another that was one of many pieces of furniture destroyed by a moving company, so we were on a very tight budget. For the money we expected something average, but this dresser is far below average! Dresser came in the mail in a box completely unassembled with a million small parts. The face of the drawers and top are the only parts that are hardwood, the rest is like balsa wood. I'm pretty good with my hands, and I had difficulty assembling this. After 2 1/2 hrs of rigidly following the instructions, the dresser was wobbly and screws loosened after 3 days of use. My wife opened a drawer and the front face fell off. We are returning this dresser and considering using our mostly destroyed original dresser that is very well built, and incidentally was the same price. December 18, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful dresser but had a few issues The dresser arrived within the estimated delivery date with the crib. The crib was badly dented / scratched so we placed a re-order. We still put the dresser together as all pieces were fine. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to put together as the directions to make the shelves were backwards and screws were missing. It would have helped to have pre-drilled holes for the dresser backing. Once we had it all assembled, the drawer and the door on the right side are not aligned. The holes for the hinges were pre-drilled too low which leaves about a 1 inch gab between the bottom of the drawer and the top of the door. We'll have to drill our own holes to make sure it aligns better and to take out the gap. Otherwise, I love this dresser and the color (Coffee) is great. Definitely has a tint of Cherry in it, but from the other reviews, we knew this going in. January 11, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Attractive dresser, some minor flaws to finish. Received this changing table quickly and in good condition, the only exception being some minor finish issues that were in very unfortunate locations. Assembled in just under 2 hours and was fairly pleased with the strength and fit of the fittings and panels. The main issue is that there was some touch up done, pre packaging, that should never have made it through quality control. Small scuff on the front of the highest drawer front that was fairly obvious and another smaller on the top. I have a stain marker that made it nearly invisible but really shouldn't have been shipped in this condition. Cost effective, but you get what you pay for. January 7, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by First Baby set ever (The father review) Ok. .. . . at a normal price I would NOT buy this, bought it since it was on "special" PROS: Looks nice, nice color Good Craftsmanship CONS: Wood and composites are to fragile, it easily dents and scratches, even the fake wood panels scratch by just looking at them O_O...... Assembly manual confuses (either that or I don't read them right) I kept stressing while assembling the furniture, since every wrong move will scratch something, and I guess once we start using it when the baby comes, it will scratch and dent like crazy Good thing I did not buy the rails to make it an actual bed, I think It wont last 6 or 7 years.. . . Rated 4 out of 5 by Really cute I bought this dresser for our daughters arrival and it matches the espresso colored crib we bought perfectly! It's really cute and pretty but putting it together was horrible! There are so many pieces and it took my sister and I four hours to put together! Quality is not that great but what I would expect from a price like this…perfect for the price range and looks really nice just expects a lot of work putting it together! December 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Buyers Beware This item was very cheaply made and difficult to assemble. The instructions were not clear cut and often we had to guess at what to do next. I put a changing pad on top of this dresser to use as a changing table and it is already ruined on the top from scratches. As soon as our daughter is potty trained, we will be trashing this dresser to get something that will hold up for years to come. My husband has already had to drill a screw into the outside of the top dresser drawer because the door has fallen off multiple times. My daughter just turned two months old and we've had nothing but problems from this item since it was shipped to our door. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different dresser. June 15, 2013
