by BabyUno Great Dresser!
I was hesitant about ordering furniture without being able to see the value and quality. I am glad I didn't pass this up. There are multiple pieces but I was able to put it together by myself in an hour (minus lifting to put the base on due to being pregnant).

We were very disappointed because this dresser is not the good quality we usually get from JC Penney. We bought this dresser to replace another that was one of many pieces of furniture destroyed by a moving company, so we were on a very tight budget. For the money we expected something average, but this dresser is far below average! Dresser came in the mail in a box completely unassembled with a million small parts. The face of the drawers and top are the only parts that are hardwood, the rest is like balsa wood. I'm pretty good with my hands, and I had difficulty assembling this. After 2 1/2 hrs of rigidly following the instructions, the dresser was wobbly and screws loosened after 3 days of use. My wife opened a drawer and the front face fell off. We are returning this dresser and considering using our mostly destroyed original dresser that is very well built, and incidentally was the same price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MarchMomToBe Beautiful dresser but had a few issues
The dresser arrived within the estimated delivery date with the crib. The crib was badly dented / scratched so we placed a re-order. We still put the dresser together as all pieces were fine. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to put together as the directions to make the shelves were backwards and screws were missing. It would have helped to have pre-drilled holes for the dresser backing. Once we had it all assembled, the drawer and the door on the right side are not aligned. The holes for the hinges were pre-drilled too low which leaves about a 1 inch gab between the bottom of the drawer and the top of the door. We'll have to drill our own holes to make sure it aligns better and to take out the gap. Otherwise, I love this dresser and the color (Coffee) is great. Definitely has a tint of Cherry in it, but from the other reviews, we knew this going in.

This item was very cheaply made and difficult to assemble. The instructions were not clear cut and often we had to guess at what to do next. I put a changing pad on top of this dresser to use as a changing table and it is already ruined on the top from scratches. As soon as our daughter is potty trained, we will be trashing this dresser to get something that will hold up for years to come. My husband has already had to drill a screw into the outside of the top dresser drawer because the door has fallen off multiple times. My daughter just turned two months old and we've had nothing but problems from this item since it was shipped to our door. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different dresser.

We love the color of the dresser and it looks nice from far away. Overall, we felt like the dresser was a reasonable price compared to others we looked at but would consider paying a little more for better quality next time. We are in a time crunch with the baby coming in a few weeks or we would have returned the dresser. Our dissatisfaction is with the numerous scratches and nicks as well as marks where they put stickers. When opening the cabinet door it rubs against the drawer above so both open together. Also the drawer bottoms are particle board and do not appear sturdy. It was difficult to put together because the manufactur's pre-drilled holes were not in the correct spot.

I purchased this dresser without seeing it first. For the price, the quality is great! It is sturdy and looks great. I generally buy inexpensive furniture and you get what you pay for. However, here I really feel like I got a good dresser at a low cost. The color matches my espresso crib very nicely.
It will take some time to put together. It took my husband and myself about 2 hours start to finish. It does come in a lot of pieces, but the 2 hours of our time was worth the $120 we saved by not buying a pre-assembled dresser. Plus we could put it together on our own schedule.
I ordered this dresser on a Sunday and it was ready to pick up in the store on Tuesday!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Spam808 Nice size, cute changer.
This changing table was relatively easy to assemble, it took my husband about 2 hours. It's small and very cute but the finish isn't uniform & scratches easily. The finish on the door is darker then the rest of the pieces and the bottom rim looks more cherry. There are no gold hinges anymore which was a complaint in previous reviews. The 4 little drawers as shown in the picture actually make up only one drawer which is pretty pointless design. I don't see this lasting for several years but it was a good deal. I opened a brand new charge card and to my surprise I got 20% off from typing in the new credit card code instead of the 10% off which is stated on the brochure.

I bought this dresser/changer to match the crib and it looks great! It was not hard to put together becasue I used a corless power drill. I can see how the directions may be hard to understand. My recomendation is to put the drawers together after you assembe the base of the unit. It allowed me to visualize the assembly better. I did run out of a few of the small scews needed to secure the backing. That was solved because I had some extra from something else. In all, this was cheeper than anything else on the internet or baby superstore. It looks good and will laast al long as needed. I would reccomend this to people who have some experience with putting together "things".
