Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking curtain rod The rods came perfectly packaged. Everything was there and in perfect condition. I installed the rods myself with a drill, hammer and screwdriver. No problem, but it is up to you to measure correctly. The rods and finial are beautiful. The finial is especially noteworthy because it is metal and a good size. I did not use the third bracket on my long windows because I only hung one curtain panel on each side of the window so I do not know if the third, middle bracket is necessary. However, I would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EXACTLY what I wanted! We moved from a much warmer climate, and I'm not crazy about the cold. For this reason, our new home is airy with the common areas painted a cheery (but not too bright) yellow. Because I want the fireplace to be the focal point of the family room, I chose sheers that blend well with the walls. These rods and finials fit the 'feel' I wanted perfectly. The pewter colour fits the 'lightness' of the room and the metal twist finials carry the airy theme. We are a military family. Military wives come in two varieties: those who have boxes of window treatments to fit any possible home they end up with, or those who eschew treatments and simply make do with the existing blinds. After we moved into our second home 25 years ago, I quickly became one of the latter. I LOVE my new window coverings. We recently also bought treatments for both of my children's rooms... although the sheers themselves did not come from JCP, all of the rods/finials/tie backs are by Rod Desyne.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful I purchased this rod because it was a close match to the rods left by the previous owners of the house I recently purchased. The rod I purchased was for the sliding glass door so it needed to be large. I searched everywhere to find a rod to match and could not find one until I checked the JCP website. Truly happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for decorative drapes. The Finials are heavy duty, but the rod is a bit weak. You are not going to want to put heavy drapes on these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from perfect length, finials are real metal not plastic We needed a long curtain rod and were very pleased with the quality of this one. The finials are quality metal, not cheap plastic that's been painted to look like metal. I was hoping we would not have to use the middle bracket since I was going for a more open look, but due to the width of our windows the rod sagged without it. It's hard to find decorative rods this length, so I would definitely recommend it. The only thing we don't like is that because the twist finials are both identical and twisted in the same direction, they don't visually look the same when they are actually attached to opposite ends of the rod. I think perhaps they should have made them opposites of each other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far more than expected Higher quality, fairly heavy duty rods. easy to install and look great. Finials are serious pieces of hardware and coordinate with the rod nicely

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to install This rod was very easy to install. Nice quality and the end pieces are very heavy, not a cheap plastic.

how do I hang a valance-threaded rod like this past the supporting bracets? The valance is macrame lace with 14/16 holes for the rod.

Asked by: susanna
Insert the rod into the rod pocket of the curtain and then place the road and curtains onto the holders.

Does the Rod Desyne curtain rod size 120-170" actually get any smaller than 120" and if yes, how small?

What is the absolute minimum size of my rod (just trying to avoid taking it down to check that myself)
