Rated 5 out of 5 by not disappointed These holdbacks were the perfect addition to the new sheers for my bedroom. They are beautiful while serving their purpose. I would buy another set if I had a window for them. I would highly recommend these holdbacks. They are very elegant and sturdy. August 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Functional and decorative. The leaf pattern matches the pattern on the curtains and compliments very well. July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very pretty hold backs for my drapes. I bought 8 of these for the four windows in my living room. They arrived quickly and were nicely packaged. I love the way they look. So functional and pretty. I highly recommend these hold backs. They add a nice touch to the room. June 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by These Ivy holdback completed the look I wanted. I have the Ivy rods, that went great with my black hammered iron bed. I have 9' ceilings, I hung the rods 4" above the window and 4" to the side. Using the lattice pattern egret panels (95") and the Ivy holdbacks completed the look I wanted. The 95" panels length with the holdbacks hit just at the baseboard. July 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded Expectations! I am so happy with my purchase. They look fantastic, were easy to install, and work beautifully. I will definitely get more of these. September 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ivy holdbacks These look so great with my decor. They are sturdy and easy to install. Color is great. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stunning decor These tie backs are larger than the ends on the rods and are heavy duty enough that I bought a few extra to act as coat hooks. I love the botanical detail in the leaves and having the matching accessories makes me look like I knew what I was doing... October 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks great. We used the tie backs one to each small window and two for the larger window. That worked well for the room, but the tie backs were larger than expected and somewhat difficult to position in the smaller spaces. They are sturdy and pretty. May 4, 2014

Answer:
They do attack to the window frame with two screws. They can be positioned to your desired look. The drapes can be closed at night .

Answer:
Yes, this is attached to the window frame using the screws provided. For those of you without window trim, you would have to mount directly into the wall. The drape just slides into the holdback arm. You can easily remove the drape from the holdback arm and close it in the evening. I have attached pictures. Hope this information will help!

Answer:
They attach to the frame on either side of the window., using screws. You pull back the drapes during the day, and place them inside the holdback. At Night you pull the drapes out of the holdback and close them over your windows. The only thing I do not like about these holdbacks are they are Not a matched set. Because of the way they are made, the large leaf will be on top on one side of the window, and the little leaf will be on top on the other side.
