Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent quality, with a couple of minor issues.... I loved everything about the rods, except: 1. The clear plastic transition that is supposed to allow the curtains/rings to glide smoothly actually catch the grommets and the rings and are very difficult to get the curtains passed them. 2. I had to shore up the rod brackets for my double rods, as they dipped. I have three windows with the longest rod, and I have 6 brackets. I have 16 panels on it, so maybe my expections are too high... That being said, they are gorgeous and well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product - happy customer As I was hoping for - looks like its going to last a long time and support heavy curtains. Definitely I would buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy, does its job well I bought this curtain rod to replace a cheaper extendable option that I determined was not going to be capable of holding up my curtains. We have a long window in the front of our house and needed something to hold two substantial (but not quite as heavy as blackout) curtain panels. This curtain rod is very rigid, no bowing or movement under the weight of the curtains. The curtains slide easily and the rod looks great, not cheap at all. I was also able to use the ends that came with my other curtain rod. I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 because it's still a lot of money to spend on a curtain rod. But better than no curtains! And I know if won't fall down when I pull on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Rod These strong rods are beautifully holding up my 95 inch long, room-darking panels across a very wide window. I am very pleased with the look and functionality of these rods!

Are the finials removable?

Asked by: yvonne
Yes. They screw into the ends of the curtain rod. You have to have them off in order to put your curtains on the rod (unless your curtains have very large grommets)

How many support brackets are provided for 170 inch length?

Asked by: lesser160
It comes with 4 support brackets. One for each end and two for in between. We happen to only be using three, and it is just fine.

what parts do i need to buy?

The product details make it sound as if I have to buy separate components in order to get the rod, finials, and hardware. If I buy the "Rod Desyne Twine 1" Curtain Rod," what is included, and what other parts (if any) do I need to buy in order to actually put curtains up?
Asked by: Cheryl
This product comes with the rod, finial and mounting hardware.
