I saw this skirt at one JCP location but wasn't my size. Fortunately the cashier was able to locate one in my size a short distance away. The style is very classy with petticoat underneath so it gives you that 50's look. The skirt runs a tad small at the waist. But falls beneath the knees. I'm 5'9 and got a size 14 (usually wear a 12). While I was excited to get the skirt I am now somewhat disappointed as the inseam in the back where the zipper is as it is already unraveling. So it earns a 3 star in my eyes because it was a bit pricey for the stitching to be so lax. But because I love the look of the skirt I will have the seam fixed.

I loved this skirt.
Loved this outfit. I put it together with a blouse I purchased earlier in the year from J C Penney. I wear a 14 to 16 in clothes so I ordered a 16.

Beautiful Skirt---RUNS SMALL, 2 sizes
I agree with the previous post. This skirt is beautiful. It has a petty coat underneath that is comfortable and not itchy on skin. But the ONLY downfall to this skirt is the sizing. It is 1 - 2 sizes too small. I think this items should be in the misses dept, not the women's dept. I even put on a waist trainer so I could fit it and it was still too small. I typically wear a 14 in pants/XL shirts/16 dress---and a 16 was too small. SOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!

I got many compliments on this skirt Christmas Eve and day (two different groups :))
Its definitely a particular 50's style-- very full and almost pillowy.
I wore it with a black turtleneck to unpoof it a bit.
