The dress is beautiful on the model but it had two features that were deal-breakers for me: the polyester fabric which was full of static electricity, and the straps were not adjustable. All other dresses I've seen in this style are rayon or cotton. The fixed strap length did not fit me. Sizing can differ from one garment to the next, and while I measure exactly for an 18 on the jcpenney size chart, I thought I'd try the 16 since I've bought several dresses this summer where a smaller size than I'd normally wear ended up being perfect. It wasn't this time, and the 16 was just too tight in the bust. This one was my mistake, but you don't know for sure until you try on a garment. .............. Then I went to return the item, packaged it up, affixed the return label, went to the post office, and they refused to mail it due to no street address on the return label. This is actually the second time this has happened this year, and I didn't notice it again until I had already made the trip to the post office. After searching online, I found the street address, handwrote it on the label, and made yet another round trip to the post office. jcpenney's management needs to realize that even though their local post offices know where they are, other post offices around the country may refuse to mail without a street address. This is a 5-minute programming fix; then everyone could mail easily.
