Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Rowenta Products First, the product comes an a very compact box, it's easy to put together and fits well into the packaging. It took about 10-15 minutes to unpack from the box and set up. My one reservation about the design of this product is that you can't actually sit the water tank down to fill it up the way it is shaped. It fills from the bottom so it must rest on its top, but it can't. So, you need to cap the water tank immediately after you fill it to prevent spilling the contents of the tank. I like this steamer a lot. Like all other Rowenta products it appears that the steamer is built to last. The clips that come built on to the unit for hanging garments are a nice touch for hanging pants from the unit for steaming. The unit heats quickly (90 seconds or so) and comes with a variety of attachments for the steamer head. I also own a Rowenta iron and I love that product as well (I've had it for 11 years) and I'm expecting that this steamer will have a similar lifespan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Garmet Steamer! also acts as a disinfectant t I absilutely was shocked when I received my steamer. it maneuvers around just the same as a vacuum cleaner so I can easily steam clothes and curtains in mine n my four kids rooms without having to take anything out of their rooms, which isa HUGE deal to me. The instructions were super easy to understand I was using my steamer within about 5-8 minutes after opening the box it shipped in. I love the Garmet hanger that is on the front of it . It makes straming a shirt one of the easiest things I have ever done! The steam gets super hot, which is wonderful. that means that not only am I steaming my clothes, but at the same time I am disinfecting which with four kiddos is so great to have a handy steamer on standby for when one of us has been sick or exposed to a sickness or whatever. the handheld steamers cant even begin to compare to this one. I will never use another steamer again as long as I have a say so in it !!! it will literally take you less than 15 minutes to begin using it after you first open the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple to use and works as expected I have had previous experience with garment steamers, most recently, a Conair 1500 Watt full-size garment steamer. When using this Rowenta steamer, I had certain expectations based on the Conair steamer. The bottom line is that this steamer works great for its primary purpose - steaming. Below are my pros and cons: Pros: Operates quietly and does not leak or spray water when on Powerful steam Steam is at full power in 1 minute Step to power on Sturdy construction Cons: Hose gets hot to the touch when running Clips are hard to open and slide across the metal bar Built in hanger does not rotate No pause button My favorite thing about this steamer is the power button, which you tap with your foot. This makes the whole process much more convenient. The steam is powerful and I am able to steam out a regular top in about 30 seconds. All the cons are in comparison to the Conair steamer. It would be really helpful if the built in hanger could rotate, but I ended up just using a regular hanger. This works, but the garment can't hang as high, so it's harder to work on the bottom portion of longer garments. A "pause" button like on the Conair would be helpful so the steam could temporarily turn off whilst switching or adjusting garments, then turn back on without having to warm up again. If this was my first experience with a garment steamer, I would probably rate it a 5.This is a solid steamer that I would recommend to others. However, with my expectations, I took off a star, but would consider purchasing in the future depending on the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a This steamer is great! I never had one before, so I am very excited. Now that I have one, I wonder why I never had one before. It was very easy to assemble and use and took little to no effort at all. It is ready to use in 60 seconds. The water tank is removable, have an extra large, easy to fill, and holds 80 oz. The steam head is soft and large so you get a lot of steam for easy wrinkle removal. You can quickly steam your finest clothes or your hard to steam clothes. It has a hanger with pant clip for your convenient, so you don't have to worry about getting a hanger. You can hang your pants, shirt or dress and steam. Clothes hang nicely from it. Steaming from all sides and angles can be done in about 1-2 minutes. Steaming is safely done. It has an on/off switch with indicator light. It has large wheels so you can move it with ease. There is a pole for you to pull it. It comes with 3 different accessories: fabric brush, crease attachment, lint pad. It is compact so it can be easily stored. The best part about it is that it sanitize and remove odors from your clothes. Wow! I would definitely recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much better than a damp washcloth! Let me just start out with the fact that i cannot iron clothes. Everytime I attempt to iron an article of clothing, I have either burnt myself or the clothing. That being said, I usually only purchase clothes that do not need to be ironed or ones that can be hung up out of the dryer. The Rowenta garment steamer came in very handy last weekend. I just so happened to get the steamer delivered a week prior and had take the time then to set it up in anticipation of using it. Somehow, none of my dresses were hung up the last time they were washed. I only had 15 minutes until we had to leave. I am known, under these circumstances, to throw the items back in the dryer with a damp washcloth. I hung the free up and within 10 minutes I had gotten all the wrinkles out of my dress. I absolutely love how quick and easy the Rowenta garment steamer is to use. Now I can go shopping without worrying about not buying clothes that need ironed. The Rowenta compact valet garment steamer is my go to for all my clothes. A big shout out to Viewpoints samples for giving me he opportunity to receive and review the Rowenta Compact Valet Garment Steamer (at no additional cost to me).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful, Quiet and Sturdy I really hate ironing and this steamer really helps cut down the time for my clothes to be look sharp. Assembly was super easy and I really didn't need the instructions. However, the instructions were well written and illustrations were easy to follow as well. I don't think this can fully replace an iron but it does a good job removing wrinkles. However I did notice that the results are not as good as with an iron and garments are a bit damp after you're done. I use it mostly on delicate clothes like night gowns or my drapes to sanitize and avoid damaging the fabric. The on/off is located at the front of the unit as a foot pedal. Once I turned the steamer on, it took under a minute for the steam to begin coming out. Rowenta recommends using half tap water and half distilled water. I used tap water. The water tank is is big, removable and easy to fill. This steamer has an integrated hanger hook but the hanger isn't that great, but you can use your own. Shirts hang nicely from it, and steaming all sides can be accomplished in a couple of minutes. It also comes with 3 different accessories: fabric brush, crease attachment, lint pad.The pole is removable and height is adjustable for convenience while steaming and for storage. Overall, it is a great steamer. I think it did a good job with everything I used it on and it's well worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty convenient! I do not know how to iron clothes--so this steamer makes thing much easier and convenient. I don't think I had ever used a steamer, but I didn't even need to read the instructions; it was pretty easy to assemble, too. Now to the important stuff: I used the steamer on three different shirts and the results were great! You can see the before/after photos and the difference is pretty noticeable; I'd say I spent 4-5 mins. working on that shirt (maybe it would've taken me less if I was more familiar with the steamer? Who knows). The hose could be longer. Overall, I am pretty satisfied!
