Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice size! This rod looks good. I like the size - it makes my window dressing look more expensive than the rods that are less than 1 inch in diameter. The curtains with the metal grommets fit and slide on it just fine. I really wish the makers would put different size screws in the package. The long screws that come with it are about twice the length needed for putting the rod directly into the window frame, so it is very hard to get them to go all the way in. (The longer screws are necessary for sheetrock.) Also, I noticed that the finish on the rod is VERY easily scratched, so be careful putting it up. If I bought another one, I would purchase some shorter screws to hang it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Theres a clue in the name. 'Decorative rod'. If you want to open and close these drapes, don't buy telescopic rods. There's a clue in the name. 'Decorative rod'. If you want to open and close your drapes, don't buy any telescoping rods. You can't get drapes/drapery rings over the join. Curtain rings (sold separately) also look really nice but functionality is extremely poor. If you open and close your drapes, the sprung clip that grips your drapes can not hold fabric weight. Lightweight silk/sheers for show only, might be ok, but who has those for New England winters! Very poorly designed. obviously not tested over any period of time. Very disappointing. I have installed 40' of these rods in my bedroom and I wish I had taken them back for a refund. I get frustrated looking at these every day where the drapes continually come out of the clips. One window is 11' high and my husband and I get extremely frustrated having to get our very heavy ladder from the garage to our bedroom every few weeks to re-clip the drapes. My bedroom looks completely shabby now because of the drapes!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality & Attractive I purchased these rods for every window in my house. I looked at similar curtain rods at other stores, but these were by far the best quality (all metal) and a great price bought on Black Friday at 50% discount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty color, able to hold lots of weight! Bought these for my dad to give my Mom for Xmas. She needed a better way to slide her rod pocket, heavy taffeta curtain panels along their sliding glass patio door. We paired these clasps with the Royal velvet Elise curtain rod and it worked and looked wonderfully! These clips are great. Definitely sturdy and able to hold a good amount of weight. Her curtains are 3 in number, and 84" length taffeta curtains..very heavy. They were no problem for these clips! They slide so easily now! And they look great! They go great paired with the aforementioned curtain rod. You have so many options on how to hang the curtains with these clamps. We googled the different looks and finally found one my mom liked. Great product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curtain Rod I was very pleased with my recent purchase. The curtain rod looks beautiful in my new home and compliments the curtains that I purchased. A perfect match displayed so beautifully to make the window and room look complete.

how many brackets do I use for a 94" window

I am trying to decide if I should buy 3 or 4 panels and I want to decide based on the number of brackets I will need to use.
Asked by: seacum
I would go with 4 brackets so that you can have a panel between each bracket - remember that you can not pass the bracket with the drape. This would mean three panels. 2 end brackets and two equally spaced apart between the outer brackets. If you are more comfortable with 4 panels - space the two middle brackets further apart and put two panels in the middle to spread from the center towards the outer brackets. Ive included a photo as a visual.(look at the front sliders....not the background one!)

How far out do the brackets project from the wall?

I need the rod to be able to project out at least 3 1/2 inches to go beyond my blinds.
Asked by: Diane
From the wall to the middle of the rod when placed in the bracket is just slightly over 4"

installing royal velvet rod

I purchased two 80-120 inch rods. They both came with two end pieces (with the finial screwed in at one end) The center piece does not fit into both end rods. Why?
Asked by: havey
Same question here. There is no plastic ring at the end. One end of the center piece has the end piece to screw in a finial. Please provide more details. Thank you

what is the diameter of this rod ring?

I need another set of the martha stewart 1 in clip ring, item number 7357025, which is no longer available. I'm hoping these will match.
Asked by: vannabeth
They fit rods that are 11/4 inches around.

Will a 1 1/4 inch rod accommodate 1 1/2 grommets?

I just want to make sure 1 1/4 inch curtain rods will accommodate 1 1/2 inch grommets. And that the grommets will slide on easily. Would 1 inch rods be too small for 1 1/2 grommets and would the grommets look a little loose and untidy?
Asked by: RozC
Yes, a 1 1/4 inch rod will accommodate 1 /12 inch grommets.
