Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Soft Sheets These sheets are the bomb.com! They are super soft and very breathable. The white color is crisp and chic and gave my bed the perfect hotel chic look. The only drawback is they are a bit large for my queen sized bed, even with a rather large and fluffy featherbed mattress pad on top. That's not a deal breaker for me though because these sheets are so amazing. I just tuck them in extra tight every morning when I make my bed. This is my first time ordering sheets from JcPenny and I am so happy I did. I went the extra mile and monogrammed my sheet set. This simple and inexpensive service really made these sheets stand out but they'd be just as beautiful without. My husband even fawned over these sheets. I'll be purchasing another set in the near future so we don't ever have to sleep without these sheets on my bed. October 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The sheets fit the description I had hesitation when I ordered these sheets, because I've ordered through other stores and have sent them back because of the poor quality. But these sheets are truly wrinkle free, soft and fit our mattress. I'm going to order some more. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice sheet set I was looking for very soft sheets.I did a lot of research and found this product. The sheets are soft, but not super soft. Maybe I have to wash them more. I have only used them about one month. October 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by No pilling with this product. These sheets are very comfortable after a few washings. They have not pilled, as other sheets do. They look and feel like high quality sheets. April 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Color wheel This is my second set of these queen sheets from Penney's. Quality is excellent and sheets feel great while sleeping. VERY deep pockets. Problem is color. Seems Penney's can't name or illustrate colors worth a darn. No, it is NOT my computer--I order online all the time and colors are always true. Months ago I ordered bath rugs color named sleek brown. They are dark gold/amber/burnt orange, but certainly NOT brown. Then I ordered sheets color named steel blue and illustrated as blue in the photo. They are DEEP charcoal grey. I returned them as they made the bed appear to be a black hole. I exchanged these sheets for a color named ash and illustrated as a light grey. It is a dark grey--lighter than the aforementioned charcoal sheets, but decidedly not a light color. One problem with Penney's sheets is that if you want a light color other than variations of white and beige, they don't make them. Sure limits sales. GREAT sheets, but could you please venture into the light blues, pinks and greens? There is no Penny's location near my home, so checking in store is not an option. April 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Silky, soft, but definitely NOT blue! Wonderful sheets! Silky smooth and soft. Wash beautifully. So generously sized they'd fit a mattress several inches thicker than mine. But the blue in the picture is what I'd call maybe a Wedgewood blue. The "steel blue" sheets I got look like a dark charcoal. Even next to my multi-blue comforter, I can't tell there's any blue in the sheets. I'd buy them again, but only if the color is honestly represented. June 1, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the feel... It was time for new sheets and after researching several I decided to go with the Royal Velvet® 400tc Wrinkle Guard Sheet Set. I bought four sets Ash and extra pillow cases for each (cal king and queen), Mink (cal king), and Palmetto Red & extra pillow cases (cal king). Love the color of each, very rich colors. The Palmetto Red sheets are on my bed. Love the sheets but this color shows every piece of lent and fuzz, and is a reminder that dry ashy skin does rub off on your sheet...yes, that shows too. The feel of the sheets are GREAT! The fitted sheet has stretched out and now seems to be to big for the mattress. The pockets fit fine, it just seems too big now. My mattress is 15" thick. My daughter has not put her sheets on her bed yet, so no feedback there. And the man of the house says that the Ash color sheets in the "Snore Room" are great. He loves them. March 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Steel BLUE????? No way! Beautiful lovely BLUE color in the photo. The only blue showing on these sheets is the piping on the flat sheet. The color is steel GRAY, dark gray. Beware! May 26, 2016

Answer:
These sheets are sturdy, smooth and great quality. Hard to tell what weight you mean by "heavy". Do you mean like flannel sheets? If so, they are not.

Answer:
Yes. It will fit up to 18" mattress. My queen size is 15" so I have a little extra. However, the elastic is good and tight and I just tuck the 3" extra under. You don't notice and the side elastic seem to just suck it up.

I believe it will fit just fine. My mattress is 13" deep and there is room to spare. I love these sheets and have two sets that I alternate between. They are a very nice quality, soft, wrinkle resistant and hold their color. I highly recommend these sheets!

Answer:
I love everything I have purchased at JCP home store. Practically the Royal Velvet 300tc WrinkleGuard Sheet Sets. I have purchased 4 sets of them. The most important reason I only buy these sheets now, is the way they stay tucked in under my slightly over 14 inches pillowtop mattress. Before, other fitted sheets would not fit under the mattress. They were to small. I recommend Royal Velvet sheet sets to anyone looking for the fitted sheet to remain tucked under a taller mattress at all times. They have never disappointed me.

Answer:
No, not at all. I have been buying these sheets for the past 4 years or so (I get them on Black Friday deals) and I don't have single complaint about them. They wash so well and feel softer and softer with each wash. I had 3 different sets that I was rotating between when we had our queen bed and now that we have upgraded to a king, I purchased 2 sets to rotate between until this next Black Friday, when I'll purchase another. I figure since they hold up so well, I am probably set with just the 3 for at least a couple years. Great investment even if you don't get them on a super deal. I highly recommend them!

Answer:
The camel color is as dark as it appears. I had hoped it would be a bit lighter, but kept it anyway. Ivory is off-white, so I would say beige is in between camel and ivory.
