Rated 5 out of 5 by from generous size This is truly a bedspread... not a coverlet or quilt. On my King size bed, it reaches the floor on all sides and there is plenty of room to tuck in pillows at the head of the bed. I've not seen matelasse this generously sized before. I'm very pleased with the purchase and will purchase again and again. JC Penney has the best bedding!! Also check out the Euro size pillow forms!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice product for the price. We have a Queen size bed with a extra thick mattress. I like extra material on each side of the bed, so we ordered a King size. I like that it is on the light weight side. Could be use year around if wanted to.
Date published: 2016-12-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Love the soft butter cream color. Also, finally a bedspread that comes to the floor and has ample length to tuck under the pillows.
Date published: 2016-10-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased overall This is a very pretty bedspread and the color is awesome. Be advised though, it is very thin. If you are looking for something heavy or to keep you warm in the winter this would not be the one to purchase. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is a little short on the sides. This bedspread is supposed to be over sized and it is, somewhat. It is a good ways from the floor on both side and I am afraid it will be much shorter after it is washed. The length is great with plenty of fabric to make your bed the old way by covering and tucking your pillows in. It's a keeper despite the sides.
Date published: 2016-12-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from soft color. practical weave fabric. I really like this spread. It is more two-toned than I expected. The raised design is not the same blue but looks "whitish" against the background. It is a busy design but good in a room that needs a "pop." The color is great for me and is dressy and yet practical at the same time. Very pretty.
Date published: 2016-12-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Been a Year and I'm Still Smiling I spent months looking for a spread that was not only the right color but also wide and long enough for my king bed with 16" mattress. Minimum was 122" wide and 100" long. I ordered it plus 3 Euro shams in Buttercream. Oh happy days! Wayyyyyyy long and wide enough and durable. Perfect as added cover when a sheet isn't enough on cool nights. I took it to the laundromat at the end of the season to wash and dry it and the shrinkage (which I expected from the cotton/polyester blend) made it the *perfect* size. When it becomes available in brown, I'll be ordering another to use in the winter!
Date published: 2016-07-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with quality I was pleased with the quality of the bedspreads (2) received and find them to be of great value.
Date published: 2016-12-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to find simple beautiful bedspreads today: this was a great find. Simple, but beautiful, white bedspread. Difficult to find in today's marketplace.

Answer:
SeaMist color is a pale pale gray green with undertones of blue. It is definitely NOT aqua. I am happy with the sizing and quality of my Royal Velvet Coralle Damask bedspread and fitted bedskirt however it does snag easily.

Answer:
The color is sort of dull in my opinion. I returned it due to the poor quality...pillow shams were unraveling when I took them out of the package. Bottom line...I returned it because of the poor quality and the color.

Answer:
Everyone's eyes see color a little differently, but my perception is that it has more of a green undertone than blue, although it is a mix of both. That being said, if you have a local JCP store, they may not stock this particular spread but my local store has other spreads in seamist that helped me get an idea about the color before ordering.

Answer:
I am not sure about seamist - I ordered the ivory. I would think, though, that seamist would be a very light soft greenish. I am extremely happy with the quality of the bedspread, and once I got it also ordered the bedskirt to match as wanted more coverage toward the floor on my higher level bed. It is really classy looking, and for the price was a real bargain.

I would say it's a pale, dusty, greyish-aqua. I nice subtle color. The swirly pattern that's on it is more pronounced that the picture, but I've grown to like the pattern.

Answer:
The website shows a beautiful color - the actual item delivers as a tan or beige. Very disappointed. Nothing beyond the family of beige. Not the slightest hint of color. I never even opened the package and immediately had the lady post a return.

Answer:
The bedspread weighs in at 6.5 lbs. It is only one layer thick, not like a quilt with 2 layers and batting. It is somewhat heavier than it looks like it would be because it is not a print but the design is by thread. It looks really nice on the bed.

Answer:
It is light weight. As I make bed, I pull top of spread back and place pillows under it and pull spread over pillows. When going to bed, pull bottom of spread down from top to foot (to one layer) and top weight is perfect for my husband and I.
