Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with these valances! I love these valances! The color is very nice and the subtle yellow pattern compliments the purple! Before I hung them up, I put them in the dryer for a few minutes and the wrinkles came out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So Disappointed! I wasn't sure about this valance from the picture online, so I drove to the store and looked at them there. Very pretty. Just what I was looking for. They didn't have any in the store and I was told it takes up to 20 days to get them to the store after I order them. I told the associate that it said online available between the 15th-20th of this month. She said that's when they mail them from the manufacturer. Well not true, I ordered 4 valances for a double window online on the 10th and they arrived at the store on the 14th. I picked them up and brought them home and was excited to hang them.Very pretty until you hold them up to the window and the light shines through them. The beautiful crimson color and the gold color are so washed out by the light that the only thing I can say is they are ugly! I was going to hang them on my dining room double window that has 2" wooden blinds and opens to a covered porch, so this is not a bright sunlit window. Of course in the store they are not displayed where the light can shine through but I thought they would lovely and they are not. Sadly I will be returning them for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than expected! I really love the look of these Ascot Valances. Needing so many (9) I had to wait till they went on sale, and hesitated even then. But I love them. I did think they would be darker in color, so glad they weren't. I love them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Valance has a nice pattern and looks very rich. Although the valances look nice on the windows, the price is a little high. If I hadn't gotten them on sale, I probably would not have purchased them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pattern I bought the drapes and valances to go on my larger than normal patio window/door. It took 4 valances, but they are beautiful. I bought the claret and the pale gold accents are perfect with my pale yellow walls. These are rich looking and look more like custom designer than ready made. The fabric is so plush looking and they are lined which is needed as I have west facing window. It took forever to get them, almost 3 months for drapes and 4 months for valances, as they were out of stock. The prices were incredible for the look and feel of these draperies. If all the colors are as beautiful as the claret, then do not hesitate if they compliment your décor. Love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect valances Purchased these valances in ivory- more of a pale beige than a true off white. However, it is the perfect color for my decor and I love them. They are nicely finished and hold their shape on the rod. They needed a light touch of an iron when I took them out of the package, but they pressed beautifully and look very nice. I would buy these valances again and recommend them to other customers who want a nice, finished look to their window.

You could do it with two, but it would look skimpy. I suggest at least 3 or to look even perhaps 4.
