Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning! These curtains are beautiful. I've read other reviews describing the fabric as 'shiny' however, I don't see it that way at all. I'm so glad the 'white' curtains have a hint of silver or light gray to them. Such a nice contrast again my white shutters. The curtains completely transformed my room. They look really elegant. I couldn't be happier. As a matter of fact, I ordered an additional set for the master bedroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Drapes when right size/not defective! Overall, I'm pleased with the Kathryn room-darkening pinch-pleat drapes that I purchased. The color is exactly as advertised and they truly are room darkening. That said, I ordered 8 panels online and received 7 that were the right size (84") and 1 that wasn't (too long) I facilitated the return/exchange in a local JCP store in hopes of receiving a quick replacement at the correct length. When it arrived (a few days later) it was actually 2 inches too short (82" long) and the liner was exposed/sewn visibly at the bottom of the panel. Once again, had to return/exchange in a local JCP store. The 3rd attempt was a charm - the correct panel arrived a few days later and it was the right size and was in good condition. My only suggestion to those considering this drape is to check the length/quality BEFORE hanging them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality darkening drape I bought these drapes for a spare bedroom that my new grandson will be sleeping in. I needed something that would darken the room. I purchased these in the Sand color and with the shades that were already on the window it seems to have done the trick. They are NOT blackout curtains and some light does come through. They are only 30" wide, so for my 60" window these just barely meet in the middle . They are lined and the fabric is very nice with a slight sheen to the fabric and the do hang nicely. I did notice that on one panel the side seam was not sewn straight but not worth returning. I have ordered numerous drapes from JCP recently to redo my entire house and the only drapes I have liked are the Liz Claiborne brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product had great features and benefits. We found the perfect color to match our furniture and flooring. We found the type of curtains we needed as we already had rods in place and needed to buy pinch pleat curtains only. Penney's had this product and in many different colors. The sales rep was fabulous in helping us choose and even found a discount for us. We loved the free shipping and they arrived in less than a week. We hung them and they looked very elegant. We would definitely recommend J.C. Penneys for any needs you may have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost what I expected They are lovely drapes, the color is a rich burgundy and the quality meets my expectations. The only issue I had, I wanted pinch pleat to add some fullness. These are but they are for curtain rods with the tab in the back to slide onto the rod. I needed them for a traverse rod with curtain hooks, so I removed a couple of stitches at each pinch and hung them anyway. Might have been my error, not reading far enough. But I am completely happy with them and they look lovely

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked out great I needed to replace lined drapes that had shrunk and was looking for something with insulation but washable. These were as described. I don't think I could have used the pins that I used with the drapes I replaced but the back tab worked fine. These are only two pleat drapes so not as full as the three pleat ones they replaced but look fine. Color was true to picture also. JCPenney was great, I ordered them online and picked them up same day at the store!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thought these drapes were terrific value. Nice feel to the material, nice quality, rich looking, especially for the price. Convenient hidden tabs for hanging, but I opted to attach rings with fabric hooks for easier sliding as I hung them over a sliding glass door. I didn't want to risk wear and tear with pulling them every day. They looked great flanking the door during the day and great privacy for night time. Very happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Beautiful! I bought 4 panels for 2 windows in my condo. Got the Cabernet color - a beautiful deep red. I am using them in my holiday decorations and they are the perfect rich deep red to set off my open concept dining and living rooms. They are so pretty, I may keep them up long after. They are nicely lined and the pinch pleat makes them look much more expensive than they are. A very good purchase!!

I just used a regular rod and they look fine. The pleats and pins are formed so you can slide in pins, but I didn't do that method.

These do NOT take drapery pins which I love, there are loops on the back of the curtains and you simply put the rod through the loops, so easy and hang beautifully

Yes. I sewed 2 panels together for each side of my window, making the drapes 120" across when pulled shut.

Answer:
I believe they are 30" wide. I have a very large window as well, so I just got multiple panels. They hang nicely side by side, so I don't think you would need to sew them, in fact, I wouldn't. The number of panels would depend on if you want to spread them out, or bunch together for an even fuller look. It would be your preference.

I had the same problem. Have you considered Patio Door panels? They come in various widths and set on the right rod they can open from the middle or one panel opening right or left. Don't get caught up trying to sew panels together. In your case it sounds like one panel would work. Good Luck

Answer:
Yes, you can certainly sew panels together, just keep in mind that it won’t look as natural with 2 seams being sewn together. If you would like to purchase these we suggest buying at least 6 panels if you plan on stacking an even amount on each side and opening them up. You can get away with 5 if you truly want to create one solid piece to slide back and forth.

We do have a couple of alternatives that would only necessitate purchasing two panels for the width of your window. These would look a lot more natural and fuller than sewing several panels together to meet the width. This panel comes lined or with a thermal lining. Please see the links below.

Take out a couple of stitches at the pleat and insert the pin. If it is just the one wire sharp pin, just insert it into the fabric at the pleat gather.

Answer:
I had the SAME problem...the description was very deceiving. I had to slit a few stiches under each pleat to insert the hooks. I'm now praying that they won't eventually fall apart.....luckily, they are very light-weight curtains. Also, trying to find the slip-in hooks with one pointed edge is impossible. I had to get the hooks with two prongs that had circled edges....had to cut off the round sections in order to insert them.

Answer:
The pinch pleats are in the top front. You would used the ring type hangers with the clip on the traverse rod and clip onto pleat on top. The back has loops to use on regular curtain rod. This is what I used.

You will need to purchase hooks, the ones with a single prong. The hook should be inserted at each pleat and then hung on the traverse rod.
