Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product to other people! I like the look and feel of the fabric! They were very easy to press and they stayed wrinkle free as I stacked them on top of each other, waiting to hang! I did need all 12 valances that I ordered for the full look that I wanted! Time will only tell how they hold up in the southern windows, however! They are beautiful now! I ordered 8 more for three more windows! I am very pleased!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect - just perfect valances These valances are nicely lined, when hung up they look terrific, especially with the hanging beads - these valances are nicely matched the sheer valances with beads I have in a nearby room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Gray Valance I refreshed my bathroom with rugs, towels and then I needed a new valance. I shopped all around looking for gray shades and couldn't find any where. I found lots online at JCP.com but none in the actual store. I finally broke down and selected several valances in the gray shades and ordered to determine what would work and what wouldn't. I decided the simplicity of this valance, along with the interest of the beads, was the perfect accent for my window. My window was 3 x 5 so I bought two of these, but had to go back for a third. It's amazing how 100 inches isn't enough for a 60 inch window because of the 'pleating' when you hang the valance. Make sure you plan for enough and don't have to go back and order more. The shade of this valance is a lovely hue of gray, not too light and not too dark. Just right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed These valances are exactly what I needed - the color matches my walls, the fabric is nice, and the beads are a great finishing touch that give them an Art Deco look. I love them. Great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really looks great at my Bay Window I chose this Beaded Valance to compliment the Sand color drapes in our room. I finally like the BayWindow! The beads add just the right touch in my Beachy Bedroom. The room now looks finished and Soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice! These valances are so nice that I bought some for my den and then ordered more for my living room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this product added a little bling to my daughter's room I had purchased two valances in the past and was very grateful that Penneys still had them in stock. I just wanted to make the valance look fuller. They add the right amount of "sparkle" to my daughter's bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC Love it, love it, love it. More than meets my expectations. It looks fantastic.

Answer:
Yes, the pocket on the valance allows for many options of rod. I used a tension rod for an interior mount which worked perfect for what I needed, but you can also use decorative rods for an exterior mount or the 'normal' rod that mounts to the wall with a curve at the corners of the window. Remember, plan for the added distance around the corners of the rod when you order the number of valances. I used three 50 inch valances for a 60 inch window.

Answer:
Yes. The pocket on the valance is very wide which leaves a lot of options for the rod. I used mine on a tension rod for an interior mount, worked perfectly.

Is it white or does it match the color of the valance? If it's white, does the liner show when gathered?

Answer:
The liner color of white did not show on my window when the valances were displayed. The drape of the material doesn't reveal the white backing.

Answer:
The liner is gray, so the curtains have a gray tint to them, which is just what I wanted. But, might not be right for someone else. They are beautiful and I really like them.

Answer:
The liner is white and it can show when gathered, but it's not overwhelming...looking at it straight on, you don't notice it. It can show some if looking from the side or at an angle, but we've not been disappointed with them.

Measurements
In the description is says that the valance length is 50". The very next sentence says there are two pictured. Does that mean total length would be 100" for two? or 50" with both measured?

Answer:
Each valance is 50 inches long so if you are using two, that makes the total length 100 inches. Remember, you need more length to allow for the drape you need for a finished look. I used three 50 inch valances for a 60 inch window, which means I had 150 inches of valance on my 60 inch window.

Answer:
50 inches for EACH valance. If two are used, then it would be 100 inches. I had a 60 inch window and used THREE 50 inch valances, so it was a total of 150 inches on a 60 inch window for proper coverage.
