Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't order the white ones! I ordered 14 of these in white because I was positive I would love them. I didn't. The white is not clean like it appears in the picture. I has a dark lining underneath that makes it have a gray tint. Also the satin like finish on them seemed very dated. It looked like a window treatment you would see in an office, not a home. When I returned them, the cashier stated another lady returned them earlier that week because of the same thing. Again, this is the WHITE valences, so I can't comment on the other colors. I am usually very happy with Liz Claiborne product, but this was disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would be easy to launder .... These valances were VERY nice. Unfortunately I had to return them because the color didn't match my new quilt like I had hoped. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might or Might Not Recommend I ordered 2 valances in the gray for a double window. Each valance by themselves is nice. The workmanship is very poor. The hem and bottom ruffles do not match up. I would recommend them if you only need one,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good4themoney I just wanted a basic no thrills valance and as you can see this fits the bill. I just put it on rod and put it up. Nice and easy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These valances are a good quality and The valances are great!!! The quality of the material is soft and the design was simplistic for the area they are in. The colors were a great match to the décor in the kitchen and the family room. Now that they are up, they add a nice homey feeling to our kitchen.

Do you need more than one valance per standard window?

Asked by: Button
My windows are 96 inches across so I used four valances for each of the two larger windows and three for the window above the sink. The number you use depends on the look you are trying to achieve. I prefer a fuller look for al of the windows. If you are not sure how it will look with one, order an additional valance.

How wide is each valance?

Does each valance come separately or does it come as a pair?
Asked by: Sally
They come separately. I can't remember but I think they're 60" wide.

can one purchase a window valance having a height of 6-8 inches?

I have a bay window with lots of glass. I would like to put up valances that will add style to the window, but NOT take away very much of the glass and the brightness that it gives to the room. 6" to 8" height would be just right.
Asked by: Rich
These are 50x18 but still allow a lot of natural light to enter into a room. The design is very simple so the window itself will be the statement.

Would this look ok on a 40 inch wide window? Or would it be too scrunched?

Asked by: Kathryn
I think I would use 2 valances to get more fullness. I think only 1 would look a little skimpy. The price is so affordable I would rather have the fuller than save a little money. I hope this helped you.
