Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elegant looking. Pricey for the fabric. I purchased 6 panels of cool white and 4 panels of smokey taupe. Cool white is a bright white. Smokey taupe is a medium gray with a slight champagne tone. Both colors very beautiful. These curtains are a faux silk look, so they are quite shiny. The face fabric is a nice looking, but cheap sheer polyester. There is a polyester thermal "blanket" behind, and a thinner fabric backing liner behind that. The overall look is very classy and elegant. A good value for what I paid on Black Friday. No way worth the regular price. I foolishly rushed to put these up and washed and dried them without reading the care label, DRY CLEAN. Thankfully I washed on delicate and dried on low. They came out of the dryer horribly wrinkled, but a medium heat iron with a lot of steam totally smoothed them out and they look great now. The bottom corners of the panels contain a weight to help them hang more nicely. These curtains give total privacy, while letting some light filter through. Nice curtains and a good value if on sale for much less than the regular price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful fabric, great price I love that these are thermal curtains, but NOT light blocking. Morning sunlight coming in the deck French doors is hot in summer, but we love all the light. These will keep that heat out, but the silk-like sheen of the fabric and modern thermal lining let the curtains sort of glow with beautifully diffused light. Blackout curtains just make the house gloomy. We had a similar set for years, but in a heavier thermal lining, and needed to replace them. I looked all over, then realized I should have tried Penney's FIRST. Most of my other drapes are Penney's, and are still beautiful after 13 years and several trips through the washer and dryer. Sure enough, Penney's had something thermal, that drapes like a regular curtain, in the perfect colour, at a great price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plan for more expense to remove creases in these drapes Drapes are pretty, but arrived in a small package, tightly folded, and very creased. There are no instructions for removing wrinkles/creases. JCP advice is let them hang. Really? Saw no change. These lined drapes have a second inner lining that professional drapery pressers HATE--I went to 3 shops. The add'l price was not small, I had 12 panels and I am ashamed to say how much I spent to get the drapes smooth and suitable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This drapes are great for the price. I have bought JCP drapes for many rooms in my house. JCP is my first stop when looking for draperies. I like that I can go and see the fabric in the store. If they dont have the size and color in stock I can order them and they are sent to my home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for These curtains were purchased mostly for their noise reducing quality. I am very happy with my choice, because the white curtains still allow light to come through, while decreasing the noise from outside. So my room still stays bright from the outdoor light. I did not even want to hang curtains because I like the big window and all the light, but the noise was unbearable. These curtains meet both my needs. And they look really nice! For the price I paid, nothing else can compare. The quality for the price was amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant! I decided to order these after perusing through many descriptions and reviews for thermal/lined drapes. My previous drapes, that were perfect in every way, are no longer available from JCP. Taking a chance on these white drapes was an excellent choice. They have a soft sheen, hang beautifully, let a bit of light in without giving up privacy, and allows heat to stay in the room. Love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For our area, a heavier drape could be used, however it meets my needs and the value is great. First ordered for Sliding patio door and dining room window. Liked the value and shade of this color and ordered the same for the living room. Then noticed how nice the front of the house would be if the bedroom window on the front of the house had the same curtains. So today another order is being placed. Totally excited about our buy for the drapes and valances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't have asked for anything better ! I love the shine/the insulation value/and to top it off....I caught a window coverage sale to top it off. I didn't purchase the valance at the same time....but will be purchasing it now, after seeing how beautiful the curtains came after ordering.

JaneMaine What size curtain rods for these?

Need to find curtain rods for "Royal Velvet Plaza Thermal Interlined Rod-Pocket curtain panel. Size? Suggestions? Thx!
Asked by: JaneMaine
The rod pocket is 3", so a rod smaller than 3" diameter will work.

Is the smokey taupe more of a beige color?

Asked by: ruth1301
I ordered ivory beige and it was very true to color on screen. Smokey taupe is quite a bit darker on my screen, but a good neutral. The fabric has a slight thread variation texture and sheen like real silk. Very pretty.
