You can purchase these towels individually, but your best value is to buy the six-piece set together. The set will give your bathroom a coordinated look and feel while saving you money.

Care tip: Some lint may be observed in the first few launderings of towels, and will diminish with each subsequent laundering. This does not affect the look, feel or performance of your towels. Please follow the recommended care instructions on the label and keep the lint trap clean on your dryer.

Eco-friendly tip: This towel is made with long-lasting quality in mind. Give it a second life when you're through with it by donating it to a local charity instead of discarding in the trash.

Good Housekeeping
Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing towels! These towels are the fluffiest ever! I am kind of, just, in awe of them. When I washed them, I thought they would take forever to dry, but they dried quickly. (I didn't even run the dryer for its full cycle.) It's like they're light and airy - not as dense as I thought they would be, considering how fluffy they are. They look great, and I've already recommended them to my cousin who was complaining about the cheap quality of some towels she bought recently at another store. It's such a relief to be able to buy something that's well-made in this day and age.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hold up well These towels have held up well over the past five months I have owned them. They are fairly thick and look nice in my guest bathroom. I like the color options and most of the colors go well paired together. I have Alamo Brown and Colonial Cobblestone. I have had no issues with the colors fading as some have commented. Review provided for sweepstakes entry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super linty I read a few of the reviews that mentioned the lint-dryer issue before picking one of these towels up (white) but wow. As soon as I took my clothes out of the washer I could see everything was covered in white lint balls. It did not improve once they got out of the dryer - and that is with drying the towels alone. Everything was covered in lint and it does not come off so easily. I had to replace a pair of sweatpants which was just covered in it and nothing takes it off save sitting with it and pulling them off one at a time. I've never experienced that before with any washable item. The towel does seems very soft but almost a little too fluffy for my taste and perhaps not as absorbent as I had read - after one wash. I've put this towel on the side however since I never want to go through lint trauma again. I'm using the home towel they sell and and another one which does not have this lint issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faded after ONE wash! I have been online shopping for towels for weeks now. After reading reviews on hundreds of towels I chose the Royal Velvet Signature Soft in Winter Grey. I went to the store and felt of the towels and they were so soft, I knew they would be great. Well, they didn't have the color I needed in stock, so I ordered it online. I washed the towels as soon as they arrived with the directions on the towels. As soon as I got them out of the washing machine they looked purple, I thought that was because they were wet. When I took them out of the dryer, the color had completely faded on the majority of the towel to a peach/pink color. I'm so upset, because I bought 12 bath towels, 16 washcloths, and 6 hand towels. Now I have to take time out of my day to take these to the store and return them! I also bought the bounce comfort bath rug and it was mildewed and peeling on the bottom as soon as I took it out of the package. Needless to say, this will be the last time I shop at JCPenneys! I never leave reviews, but I'm so upset about this that I thought I'd save someone else the trouble. Do not buy this in Winter Grey unless you don't care about the color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't absorb water well I always wash new towels before using and refrain from using Softener due to info that towels are more absorbent without softener. Not impressed with the feel or absorbency of the towel.
Date published: 2016-09-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality towels. No pilling. Super soft and absorbent! Have already gone back and purchased additional sets due to the excellent quality.
Date published: 2016-09-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from JCPenney's-Great towels still! I have bought towels at Penney's for many years. These are some of the best. As noted elsewhere, there is lint the first several washes. After that they are just plain great towels. My seven grandchildren who live with me shower daily, or more, and throw the towel out to be washed. They are wearing them out in the wash. I just bought them each two bath sheets (all in their favorite colors) and "over the door hooks" to hang them on to dry out, so they can be used two or three times ( with a spare for laundry day). About 10 days after I purchased this massive load of towels, the price went down further. I called jcpenney.com and they issued a credit for the difference!! Now that is service that matches the quality of these towels!
Date published: 2016-11-28
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible shedding on first wash!! I ordered two sets of these towels and just put a set in the washing machine and taking them out has been a disaster! There is lint everywhere! It's all over my floor and all in the washing machine. I don't think I've ever experienced this from any towels before. I'm very surprised at the Quality coming from JCPenney. Maybe I just received a bad batch? I'm not willing to put the second set in my machine for fear the same thing will happen again. The dryer too has lint everywhere. The only good thing I can say is yes, they're soft. The second set is going back ASAP. And I will return the set I washed already if they'll take them!!

I have these towels in dark blue and light aqua and had no problems with the towels being blotchy. The colors still look like new. I make sure the wash machine is filled with water and running before adding laundry detergent to the towels.

Answer:
I've never had that happen, though I did not have the aqua towel. Did you have other colors in the laundry that may have run? Did you pour detergent or bleach directly on the towel? Even bleach dispensers can dump all the bleach on the laundry at one time causing blotches. Was the towel used by someone who used hair spray?. The hair product can cause blotches you may not see till the item is laundered. Was the towel used to wipe up after cleaning a bathroom. The bath cleaning product around a wet sink or tub can wreck a nice towel pretty fast. I hope this helps.

Answer:
I washed my Perfect Aqua towel set and had no incidence of them coming out blotchy. They are beautiful.
Ideas: Run water in machine and put detergent in the water to mix/dissolve before adding towels. Make sure the detergent does not have a bleach additive.
Do not use fabric softener of any kind, liquid or dryer sheets.
Hope this helps!

Answer:
Mine did not blotch the color either. I have the pale blue towels, washed them many times in warm, with All Free and Clear. I do not use fabric softener on my towels b/c fabric softener will decrease the absorbancy in towels, and they still come out of the dryer soft, thick and fluffy

I have ordered the gray and brown towels in December. They've been washed several times in two different machines and using different detergent. I have not had the problem with any discoloring. It does say do not use or wash with anything that has touched benzoyl peroxide. That's usually only found in anti acne products and face washes. Sorry! No help here.

Answer:
I had old towels get caught under the agitator rim and "unravel". Had to unscrew the agitator and lift it to remove the caught part, which is the hem of the towel. I use very hot water and with light towels-bleach to kill bacteria and mold. I think my agitator, which is plastic softens and lifts enough to catch the thicker towel hem.

Answer:
I also don't know the answer, but I agree they would not be 6.23 GSM, that would be less than tissue paper thin. GSM stands for grams (weight) per square meter. Towels range from 300 to 900.
Although a higher number means a denser, heavier towel, as a small person I actually prefer a thinner towel that is easier to manipulate.
