Am concerned that bunching up the valence to fit on a 39 inch window will ruin the look. JMcP

Answer:
My window is 36 inches and it just fit. It just wraps nicely around my rod. If you are using a straight rod, it should fit. My husband loves them!

Answer:
I have a window that is 33 inches wide from the outside and used two of these valances for the window.
It looks beautiful - very full and hangs nicely so even though your window is 6 inches wider than mine,
two valances will be fine. HOWEVER, that being said, I had a huge problem getting the valances on
the 3 inch rod. When I measured the pocket on the valance it was 2 3/4 inches instead of 3. Because
I loved the look of the valances and the material, I decided to keep them and have them tailored to
fit the rod. It was very expensive but since I do not change my window treatments frequently, I decided
to pay for it. If you use a standard curtain rod or a round, decorative rod, it should be fine but the valances will hang more loosely than on a 3 inch rod. I hope this information is helpful.

Answer:
This valance would work for any type if window. You would need 3 to cover the full 104 in. Each valance is 48 in.

I purchased a valance for my bathroom window but when I hung it up & it was back lit, the pattern was faded out because the liner was so thin. Is this an issue with this valance?

Answer:
I have 5 of these valances in the gold tone. I have blinds under them and have not had a back light problem with them. We live near the beach and the sunlight is very strong here. Perhaps you need a blind or shade under the valance.
