Rated 5 out of 5 by from This panel is excellent for my purpose. Love the backing. This panel is excellent for blocking the North and Northwest cold winds that blow straight at our window. Believe they will block the sunshine also if we ever have any again. They seem to be of excellent quality and the only thing wrong is they will need to be ironed!!! The wrinkles have not "released" in the 2 weeks they have been hanging, so will need to either iron them or purchase a steamer and see if this works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works very well; perfect size I am satisfied with this purchase. I understand that the drapery was wrinkled. I ran the panel in the dryer with a woolite home drycleaner sheet and the wrinkles came out. I recommend the drapery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice The curtain arrived quickly. It looks nice hanging up. It is wrinkled but the wrinkles are getting less noticable as the curtain hangs. I like the thermal backing on the curtain. It looked thinner than my old curtains. It seems to be working as well or better than the old curtain. I choose the light blue. It looks more gray than I was expecting but still looks nice. When the sun shines through the window with the curtain closed, it is a beautiful blue. I will purchase more in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Drapes These Royal Velvet Drapes are very nice. I would suggest that better pictures and close-up functions be improved on the web to help customers better see the colors. Also, I would suggest adding a new lighter color than linen that is more like the Jewel Tex patio panel "neutral" color that I also purchased from JCP.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the color I needed to cover huge windows and a sliding glass door entry. The color gives a very warm feeling. The drapes blend nicely with my pine stained maple walls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These drapes look lovely in my bedroom. We decided to buy these drapes because we had our eye on them for awhile and they went on sale AND there was a 25% discount offered! We ordered the cream color. Please note the pleats did not have actual backside openings for the hooks but we improvised and just stuck the hooks into the fabric where needed. Hung up on traverse rod hardware on windows within 1 day of receiving and all wrinkles fell out (no ironing!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice panel for 6-ft door; needs a sturdy rod. This panel is perfectly sized for a 6-foot sliding patio door; with an 8-foot rod, the drape can stack completely to one side of the door in a 20-inch space. I purchased it in the delft blue, which is a light silvery blue. When the drape is pulled closed, it cuts the light in the room by about 75%. I went to the store to view the material in person before purchasing this online. The employee told me that the thermal lining was a light fleece type fabric, but that is not true. The lining is a densely woven fabric with a light flocking on the side that faces the drape. I can't speak about its effectiveness because I purchased this drapery more for privacy than for temperature control. This drape requires a sturdy rod. It weighs about 8 pounds before adding rings or pins. It was more difficult than I thought it would be to find the right rod. I initially purchased a wooden rod with a 1-and-3/8 inch diameter, but I found that it sagged in the middle even before I put on the drape, and the scale seemed wrong for the window size. I ended up purchasing a decorative traverse rod with a 1-and-13/16-inch diameter and large matching finials from the home improvement store with the orange logo. With a traverse rod, a middle support bracket can be used. I painted the wooden parts and applied an antiquing glaze to achieve a look that complements my room.

Can I have these with drapery pins?

I don't want to hang on the back tab and it states that these can be used with pins, I can't find where to insert pins.
Asked by: Kimberly
You have to use the pins that have the sharp points on them and then just poke it in by the pleat at the top. The old fashioned ones that slide into the pleats will not work on these .

Does the width include pleats or is it width when flat? I need to cover 120"" and open from the middle. Would I need to cut these to fit???

Asked by: kerby
If you need this to open from the middle, you would be better off just buying the actual curtain panels and not the patio door panel.

What color is the thermal lining??

Our association requires that the lining of all window coverings be white or light beige. I need to know the color of the lining prior to purchasing any window coverings.
