Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Elegance I ordered the drapes in blue spruce. They were perfect for the room. We hung them using ring clips, which added to to the overall look I was striving-simple clean elegance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product had a flaw I could not live with. I bought these drapes because they were a step up from some I bought earlier. The hung well and had weighted corners. The fabric and color were just what I wanted. The price was right - on sale. Unfortunately, they smelled strongly of either glue or some type of chemicals. I dropped by the dry cleaners to see if they could get rid of the smell. They said they could not, so I took them back. I would have liked to keep them however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice looking drapes I bought the dark blue drapes for my sliding glass door in the bedroom. They have a lining which blocks out light, in the daytime you can see a little light through the drapes. If you like a lot of light these drapes may not be what you are looking for. My husband really likes that it is dark in the bedroom when the drapes are closed. They hang good and the wrinkles fall out within a couple of weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Privacy We recently bought a big old house in the heart of our town, which definitely has its perks, but also its drawbacks. Our home is sandwiched between two other houses, which are each only about 10 feet away from ours. Not to mention, our house sits back from the curb only about 15 feet and we are on a very busy street. We wanted curtains that would look good, but allow us some privacy. These are perfect! The texture of them also adds a nice touch. I would highly recommend them. They go well with the Royal Velvet Crushed Voile Rod-Pocket Sheer Curtains and Wood Clip Rings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simply beautiful! Re-decorated family room and bought these valances to match my couch. They are a beautiful color and look like the color on the web-site. They have kind of like a silky sheen to them, are lined on back with white. Some of the white shows when hung, I'd recommend JC Penney line them in the same color as the valence. So easy to work with. I love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patio Drapes - Nice Quality This is the 2nd set of these drapes that I have purchased. I got the off-white/ivory. The material has a nice sheen, is thick especially with the lining so that light is 95% or better blocked. I would recommend these for long wear and good looks. They look beautiful in my Master bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value I priced other pinch pleat drapes and this was the best value. I bought it on the 50% off sale so I'm very happy. I also liked how wide the drapes were. I needed even more width, so it was good that the same color was available in another size to add to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks very nice! Purchased the dark brown which matches perfectly with the dark stripe in the bed spread. Two valances were ordered which is the right amount for the size window. They look really nice and am very pleased with this item.

Answer:
I used the old fashion white rod. the on with two in a pack, this will allow the valance to hang further out giving I a 3-d look. which mind turned out beautiful. I used the little gold rod for the sheer panel.. these curtain come with the option to use the white rod or the fancy tube rod. great option. to get another change I will just change to the fancy decorative rod. they are well worth the money....

Answer:
We do carry a roman shade in the same fabric as these curtains. Unfortunately, we don’t have these in Walnut, but they do come in a variety of other light neutral colors that will match back to these curtains. Please see product link below.

If you don't like those, we would recommend one of these 2 roman shades (please see link below) in perhaps light taupe or pebble beach. White would be a clean look, or if you go neutral on the curtain, it would provide a pop of color.

Answer:
I would use 2 panel being the 50w by 84. you would have enough for them to meet at the center of window with the option for a tieback to open. ither way they will look good. my window is 33 wide from the edge to edge of rod. which gave me the option to close half way with the option of plenty of without it looking flat and stretched. these curtain has the option of using a rod or pole rod, which ither way was a great option for another look. they have 2 soft cotton panels for blocking heat or cold out and the sun blocking was great. these curtains were awesome.

Panel width
What width panel would I order for a window that is 56" wide? I'd like to stack back no more than 9-10" per side. Same question for a 35" wide window. Some comments say that the panel width is along the upper hem, but these are pleated, so does doubling the window width yield too much fabric?

Answer:
I bought some of these, so I can answer my own question now. There is one panel per package in what I received. The panel width is equal to the length along the top. The bottom is about 1.5 times longer, or more. So, the fullness is sewn in and picking a panel width as close to your needed width (but not smaller) seems to be working for me on a traverse rod. I divided the width (including stack back) by two, added 4 inches for the overlap on my traverse rod, added 3 or 4 more for a return on the end, and got the smallest panel that was at least that size. I find that, on a traverse rod that is covered by the drape, I had to reverse the pressing-fold along the top of the panel (but just at the top, not all the way down).
