I had to return this item because the dimensions were larger than stated. Most airlines require the dimensions to not exceed 62", and this exceeded it by at least 4" - which was probably the wheels.
If it's for airline travel, I suggest the 25", which allows for expansion also and has no problem with adhering to airline requirements. The airlines limit the WEIGHT to 50 lbs., which you can reach with the 25" bag (we were at 49.5 lbs.!) just as well as if you had the 29", so you can pack the same 50 pound limit in either bag.
