Rated 5 out of 5 by from need better filler kit for replacing freestanding Overall I think the oven styling is good. Could use some work on the oven lock (as noted in other reviews). Also the filler piece to cover if you are replacing freestanding range could have a piece available to order if no back splash in your range opening. I spent hours trying to find somewhere to custom make a piece, so the range looked finished.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Range Oven went out for 2nd time in about 3 months on range that we'd had since 2009. So, decided to replace rather than repair again. Found this for a reduced price at Home Depot, and since I like Samsung's appliances, decided to get it. Some nice touches are that it overlaps the countertops just a bit so as to close any gap between the range and cabinets to prevent dripping/dropping stuff between them. The bridge element is potentially a nice feature, however it only utilizes the front and 'bridge' element - not the rear element. So, one can't utilize the full space of a double burner griddle; only about 3/4 of it. I suppose that is ok if you want a portion for keeping stuff warm, but I prefer to use the whole thing for making larger quantities of pancakes, bacon, etc. The warming drawer locks in place when fully extended and is extremely difficult to unlock. It does not slide smoothly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this range Oven: the top oven tends to cook like a broiler, even on the bake setting. When cooking with just the bottom oven, food takes longer to bake than it should. With the convection setting, baked goods do not get done in the bottom of the pan, even though the top tests done. Range: the cooktop is difficult to clean, and the instructions say not to use anything abrasive to clean it. How else do you remove stubborn stains? Timer: the timer sound is so faint that I cannot hear it in the family room, which is adjacent to the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double duty! I love my slide in range. The oven is great, I replaced a double oven with this and because my Samsung has Flex Duo I don't miss them at all. It seems that the lower oven takes longer to heat than the upper portion while using the flex duo cooking option, but not enough to matter while coordinating times. The stove top is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. I found that I lean to reach my Samsung over the range microwave and it would "wake up" the oven so the "lock" function works like a charm. Now, no more inadvertent "wake ups". A beautiful design. So glad we went with Samsung.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The legs need to be upgraded Had issues with the plastic legs, If not careful when leveling the unit the plastic legs can be stripped. The legs should be upgraded to metal and provide slots in the feet so that a flat screw driver could be inserted to adjust the feet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Performance The stove top is very hot. Unable to get burners low enough to simmer, they continue to boil. I had a smooth top range before and I find this top very difficult to clean. Seems to soil easily and difficult to get spots off. I find the oven extremely frustrating. It never registers the temp it is set for. Indicates it is a set temp when it is not when preheating. If the divider is in it the bottom oven does not get to temp set for, but remains much lower. Takes longer for product to be done. For example took bars 10 to 15 min longer to get done than in previous stove oven, and they were less successful. Oven was set on bake. Another time oven set at bake 350 and highest thermometer went was about 313. With divider in the top oven seems to run hot, but could that be because it is a small space?? Runs about 25 degrees hotter. The oven seems to work best without the divider. A technician was here and was uncertain it could function any better. I have been baking and using an oven for 50+ years and have never had a problem with an oven before. I find this oven very frustrating. I do not feel the divider accomplishes what I would have expected. I would appreciate a call from Samsung about this issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from too many flaws Spent a lot of money on what looks like a good machine...WRONG....only 2 months old, light use, and both mother boards failed, needed to be replaced, tech advised possible "recall"; and then the touch pad came apart..."design flaw". The beeper is too quiet to hear, the stove top heats up the whole kitchen, lacks easy convection conversion,...too bad you can't test drive these things. Now dealer won't replace what is a "refurbished machine", bought at full price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Great - But Partition Sensor Sticks/ Radiant Surface Elements Overheat/Electric Plug Position May Need to Be Moved I love most things about this oven. The design is sleek. Love the warming drawer and the ability to divide the oven. Absolutely love the gliding rack. I have had a few challenges though. 1- The partition design relies on a sensor in the back of the oven, which does not retract properly after a bit of use. I have had two service calls on this. Evidently the moisture in the food makes it "rust". 2 - The surface elements operate at higher temp than expected, so you need to adjust your settings. For example, medium heat would be 3 not 5 on 10 point scale 3 - Be sure to check where your electricity plug is before your installation. It needs to be near the floor. I had to make an emergency call to the electrician because I was not prepared for that. I am hoping the problems are in the past now. My Samsung microwave needed a service call at first too - but its worked well since then.
