  • Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as good as I expected. I grew up with Chenille. My mother and aunts all had white ones with a HUGE flower in the center and god forbid someone would sit on their bedspread. I got two for twin beds from Overstock, which are excellent quality but after about 20 washings they still shed outrageously, We have a California King with a 3 inch foam topper and the Savannah King fits perfectly. It didn't seem to shed much but running it through the dryer to check out, yes it did. I will take them all to the laundromat with the big dryer and run them through as with my double loader dryer I have to keep straightening them out. The quality on this one is far from the best but it could be worse. It is what I needed and I do like it. Mine is pure white and will work in my room which is a light lavender with white woodwork. I'm happy with this!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from does not meet measurement listed this item is not as large as it says. On the package it says 102 x 118. It is several inches shorter in both directions. Otherwise it's a nice soft thin spread. Fits a queen if you have a skirt. It does NOT go to the floor on a queen with regular mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful bedspread I have had one Chenille bedspread for years, nice and thick. So when ordering this one I did not know if I would keep the old one for my bed or use the new one, not knowing if the quality would match. I have to say this one went on our bed and the old one went into our spare room. The cream color was beautiful and the chenille quality was excellent. I brought a king to go on my queen bed since our mattress and box spring are very deep. Buy it, you will not be disappointed, also no fuzz came off this spread and I did not have to wash it, went directly on the bed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super Thin Fabric I purchased this bedspread in a Queen size in white. The fabric is so thin that even a pale colored blanket underneath will show through. I can't imagine that it would hold up for very long after being washed a few times. I would not recommend this bedspread, unless it was half of the original price. I returned it. Very poor quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cozy chenille bedspread I bought the King size for my Queen bed as my mattress is high off the floor, and the bottom of the spread falls just enough for me.I shopped very carefully for a bed spread-they are not particularly easy to find. This is made well, wonderful medium weight. I washed it and dried it-got a lot off lint and fuzz off it. My only complaint is it WILL shed for a while. I ended up washing it maybe three times before I felt comfortable with it. Check your lint trap after, for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this is a perfect summer bedspread. I am impressed with this bedspread. It reaches the floor at the foot of my King bed, but is a little short on the sides. I'm hoping as it relaxes, it will reach the floor as the picture shows. Right now, I'm using a bed skirt and it's fine. It's the perfect weight for the summer. I'm really thrilled with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Typical Chenille Bedspread The Savannah Chenille Bedspread was very pretty on the bed, however, there was so much loose fabric/lint coming off the bedspread that I had to wash it. I actually washed it twice and was surprised how much fabric came off in the dryer each time. There was also a lot of fabric/lint left over in the washing machine which was a pain to clean out before I could use it again. I have had a chenille bedspread before which I was pleased with, however, it was not as decorative as this one. If you choose this bedspread make sure you don't lay any clothes on it as it will collect the lint from the bedspread. Over all I was not pleased with this purchase and ended up returning it.

    Answer:
Unfortunately, it may not lay right where the rails meet the bottom of the bed. I had a four poster bed before and regular bedspreads did not work. However, if you are a sewer, you can split the bedspread where it hits the rails and just sew a hem on each side. I just love my Savannah bedspread.

    Answer:
Wouldn't buy the Savannah Bedspread for this type of bed…. it's designed to hang free (as in the photo). Probably would bunch up badly in the corners and around the rails of a sleigh bed. It's a gorgeous bedspread in the right setting, but no.
