Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these shoes! I had never worn Avia's before, but thought I would give them a try. I can wear them all day, walking on concrete floors, and my feet and legs never hurt. They have worn very well. They have great tread, no slipping. I bought a second pair in case they are discontinued before the first pair wears out!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am an AVID fan of AVIA sneakers, for over 20 years I am an AVID fan of AVIA shoes, for over 20 years, but these particular sneaks did NOT hold up well. I Purchased 2 Identical pair , while on sale, and both pairs, the left outsole fell apart. on one, the front half de-laminated and 3-separate layers flap around like busted flip-flops. the other pair, the rear half, the outside heel cup, fell completely off the shoe while i was walking, and though i retrieved it for repair, i have since misplaced it. I will be attempting to return these otherwise-almost-new shoes to JCP but if they will not , I will send them to AVIA returns.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems with plastic digging into my ankle Based on my previous satisfaction with a pair of Avia shoes, I purchased these. They look nice and had a price that can't be beat. After just a couple months of usage, though, the plastic pieces that shape the shoe behind my ankle have worn through the fabric and are now digging into my ankles and ruining my socks. This has happened with both left and right shoes, though it is worse on the right. I'm going to have to replace them soon because it is intolerable. Maybe I just wear my shoes oddly, but this doesn't seem like a reasonable wear pattern. Other than that major problem, I have not complaints about this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoe I've had in years! diabetic and 62 yrs old, on my feet a lot. Looking for shoes with good looks and all the support I need. I've worn these almost daily for almost 2 yrs! Unsurpassed durability, support and comfort! You won't find better at any price. No kidding!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs serious quality control Avia has excellent fit for wide feet and great arch support. Have been a customer of Avias for 25 years, but this model defines poor quality. the tread unglues causing trip hazards. Doesn't matter how much I like everything else about the shoe... this is unacceptable quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe if you are always on your feet I bought these several months ago and at first they seemed to be not very comfortable for my troubled achy feet, but after a couple of days they were awesome! I work on my feet all day on very hard floors and they just felt really good to walk around all day in. They did however start wearing down at about the 4 month mark, but for me that is typical to go through shoes super fast. I just bought a way more expensive pair of Nikes that turned out to be super uncomfotable and these Avias feel better than those even when they are starting to wear out!. I am about to order another pair. I just wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on the Nikes!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Economical Been buying Avia for a long time. They stopped making the one shoe I'd been buying for years so I bought the trail shoe. It's not as cushioned; it's more rigid - there's also not as much room in the toe box - but still fits fairly well. There are some problems with the soles coming apart ; I would switch to another shoe, but my feet are difficult to fit and rather than go through the nightmare of trying to find another brand/pair, I've taken to using superglue before wearing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Average Sneaker My 11 yr old son told me he needed sneakers for school - "today". I was unable to drive and we weren't going to be able to go out for a week or more. My son is usually very picky so I was a bit anxious purchasing online but I bit the bullet... I'm happy to say the shoes were delivered within 3 days (regular shipping) and my son loved them! The fit was good (ordered regular size) and he was very happy with the style. Price was okay, even though I hate paying money for something he will likely grow out of within a few months!
