Rated 3 out of 5 by from overpriced I spoke to an online chat representative asking for JCP's thickest most luxurious bath rugs. I bought these (for the color) after being reassured by a chat representative that these were equivelant to their thickest ones available (Royal Velvet® Signature Soft Bath Rug Collection) The color is perfect for my needs and they are soft - but thick? Not so much, just average in my opinion. Overpriced for the quality for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and attractive bath rug. The Ultimate bath rug is soft and very attractive with a frosted look color in aqua. This rug is a deeper color than what was available in the store. The first one I ordered was cut crooked and this was obvious on the square tile floor. This replacement was cut perfectly and looks terrific. The pile is a nice height, not too shaggy but has a plushy feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Quality, But Was Expecting "Ultima" to be Fancier JCP has always been known in my family as the "go to" department store when looking for bed and bath products. I was looking for the highest quality bath rug set JCP offers, and thought I had found it when I ordered the "Ultima" rug set. Now, I know that purchasing fabric items online is always a bit of a risk, but I expected more. The quality of the Penneys set that this set replaced was more durable and more of tight pile with a thick rubber backing...much more like what you would find on an area rug. I was hoping to receive the same quality as the old one, but was a little disappointed. On a side note...I also recently had to return a set of JCP Home towel set for lack of quality. The Ultima set is, however, satisfactory and saw minimal fiber and rubber backing shed after the first wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very soft! Purchased the contour, lid cover, and vanity rug in Silkwood. What a beautiful finishing touch to the bathroom! The rugs are a little more expensive than the JCP Home Collection but give a different look and feel to the bathroom. Very plush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable high quality bathroom rugs Rubberized non-skid backing and very nice edge and pile. A bit expensive but often there's a significant sale that makes the purchase good. Colors as expected and uniform within and across different rug pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I've purchased these rugs for several years. This one was for my mother. No cold floors, easy to vacuum if laid properly and can be just thrown into the washer and dryer when soiled. Instead of throwing it away when it starts to wear, I cut it down and put it in our vehicles over the floor mats. It really helps keep the floors clean and can again be easily pulled out and washed.. (My secret for keeping the vehicles cleaner).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color & quality were perfect I ordered the Ultima Bath Rug carpet and matching rugs for our second bath that we were remodeling. The color I chose was Dark Merlot (to coordinate with our wallpaper). I received the rugs in several days and the carpet a week later, due to bad weather on the East Coast. I am very pleased with the color, which is exactly as shown on the website, and the quality of the carpet and rugs looks very nice. I previously had JCPenny carpet and rugs in this bathroom and it held up very well and laundered nicely. I've never had a problem with anything I've purchased from JCPenney and therefore, will continue to buy from that company. Call me PLEASED!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful & Plush This is my 2nd purchase of this same item. After monthly washings for 3 years, the rubber backing started coming off. These rugs last a long time and are beautiful and soft. I did not want anything else, so I purchased the same rug again 3 years later! Very expensive looking and a great value as well!

Dark Merlot

Anyone bought the Dark Merlot and if so, is the color dark like a burgundy or lighter than that? thank-you
Asked by: Linda

How thick are they? Stay Fluffy?

How thick are they? Do they mat down after months of use or do they stay fluffy?
Asked by: Meethu
I would say a medium to full thickness. They will mat down eventually from walking on them but are easy to wash. I put mine right in the washer on cold and tumble dry on low. They come out looking brand new.
