My first inclination is to tell you to go with the longer pants, especially since you seem to have a problem with length of pants in the past. I think your height is not always a good indicator of how long your pants need to be, however. You can have a long torso and shorter inseams or vice versa. I would advise you to measure the inseam of pants you already own, that fit you the way you like (length) and then compare that measurement to the inseam measurement that is listed on the JCP website. Then, you will be able to get a more accurate fit. The good news is, JCP will take back the pants no matter what so if they don't fit right for whatever reason you won't be stuck with them. Good luck!
