Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dress pant I needed a dress pant that wasn't mawmaw-ish and these work great...the come in black, brown and grey and short, average and long too. I have had a problem with other dress pants from jcp with the hem coming out after little use, but I have had these for over a year and wear them heavily and they have stayed put. The color also has not faded (or at least noticeably) which is also a huge plus! I own 2 black and a brown pair. The are light enough that you can wear them in the summer but you don't freeze in the winter. They stretch slightly which is great since my job require a lot of bending and squatting. The pockets are deep enough to actually put stuff in...I just wish the back pockets were real. The have a slight flare at the bottom to give them a youthful appearance but its not a bell bottom by any means and the cotton is soft, not that stiff polyester stuff that plagues the junior dept. They give me a butt, unlike most dress pants and they fit true to size and length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic style and good value. I hope these measurements will help someone choosing sizing. At 5'2", I usually buy petite sizes. I have an athletic build, no stomach bulge. My jeans inseam is 29". waist 27", hips 36, thigh 19". Pants that fit me in the thigh are always too loose in the waist. I tried these on in store. I normally I wear a size 6 womens. I fit a size 3 in these pants, snug in the thigh. Talk about vanity sizing! The size 5 was a little more loose in the thigh which I prefer, but too large in the waist. The pants measure: rise 8", seat depth (waistband to crotch measurement) 12.5", and 29" waist. I found two types of pants on the racks, same price, same maker, same material. However, there was a variation. One had a single hook closure with sealed fake back pockets. The other had a double hook closure with real useable back pockets. I bought the second type because it seemed more stretchy than the first type, even though the fabric is supposedly the same. The 3 Short was too long and didn't come in my colors. grey and black. I bought the 3 Regular and will hem them. Love these pants for the comfort. I hope they hold up to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Work Pants I cannot express how much I love these pants! They're the only pants I work in. They're breathable, come in grey, brown and black and are available in short, regular or long sizes. They're stretchy and are very flattering on any body type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit for a petite figure I am very pleased with these pants. I am 5'2'' and 117 lbs. I have trouble finding pants that are not too baggy in the hips. These fit perfectly--they are not too loose or too tight. The short length is just about right for me--they could stand to be a half inch shorter, but they work just fine with heels. With 2 3/4 inch heels they do not drag on the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best slacks ever These are my absolute favorite slacks in the whole world. They're incredibly durable, affordable, and they're true to size. I really hope JCP doesn't get rid of them entirely for the Heart & Soul pants, because those are terrible. I definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone that needs a good pair of slacks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from product is good, but found a defect I ordered 3 pair of the Star City Slant Pocket Pants. One of the pair had an obvious defect. There were strings hanging off of most of the seams and during the first wear, they completely split open at one of the seams. I needed to machine sew most of the seams to be able to make the pants work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect work pants, the only ones I wear!! I absolutely love these pants! I have bought many many pairs for work, and they are all that I wear to work. For the cost, they are high-quality pants that will hold up for a long time. I have trouble finding dress pants that I like the fit of. I really like how these fit, and I have co-workers that buy the same ones. I am tall, so I love that they come in "longs". Although they discontinued all colors in long, except for the black. I kick myself everyday for not buying all the other colors before they were discontinued! Please bring back the longs in all colors!

I would like to know what is the difference between the Junior and Junior long... is it a very big difference?

I have tried the Junior long ones in the store but they were a little too long. I am 5.55 Thank you!
Asked by: Luciana
I wear a Junior (regular length) I am 5' 4 1/2" tall. They are perfect for me even with a 1/2 heel shoe. The longs are too long for me and I have to hem them.
