Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit for a petite figure I am very pleased with these pants. I am 5'2'' and 117 lbs. I have trouble finding pants that are not too baggy in the hips. These fit perfectly--they are not too loose or too tight. The short length is just about right for me--they could stand to be a half inch shorter, but they work just fine with heels. With 2 3/4 inch heels they do not drag on the ground. October 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by product is good, but found a defect I ordered 3 pair of the Star City Slant Pocket Pants. One of the pair had an obvious defect. There were strings hanging off of most of the seams and during the first wear, they completely split open at one of the seams. I needed to machine sew most of the seams to be able to make the pants work. October 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good dress pants These are quickly becoming my go-to dress pants. When my old black pair no longer fit due to a recent weight loss, I ran out to my local Penney's and got the same style in a smaller size. I love the value, comfort, and fit of these pants. They feel better than my favorite pair of jeans, even by the end of the day. They sit about an inch below the navel, and fit well in the seat and thighs. They give me a nice rear view, while still looking professional. The short length allows me to wear them right off the rack, without alterations. They're too long for flats, but just about right with heels. There's only one thing I would change about these pants: I would like to see a slim bootcut instead of a wide flare. Also, I really wish the gray color was available in the short length again. It would be nice to have another pair. January 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and VERY LONG! Absolutely love these pants! I own two pairs and I will continue to buy more. I use these pants for business casual, as well as working in a coffee shop. Never once have I had an issue with stains, and these pants are extremely comfortable. I am also very tall and these pants are extremely long for tall people. Which is a GREAT THING! "Sweepstakes Entry" January 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pair of pants great value, have always bought these pants and love them January 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great dress pant I needed a dress pant that wasn't mawmaw-ish and these work great...the come in black, brown and grey and short, average and long too. I have had a problem with other dress pants from jcp with the hem coming out after little use, but I have had these for over a year and wear them heavily and they have stayed put. The color also has not faded (or at least noticeably) which is also a huge plus! I own 2 black and a brown pair. The are light enough that you can wear them in the summer but you don't freeze in the winter. They stretch slightly which is great since my job require a lot of bending and squatting. The pockets are deep enough to actually put stuff in...I just wish the back pockets were real. The have a slight flare at the bottom to give them a youthful appearance but its not a bell bottom by any means and the cotton is soft, not that stiff polyester stuff that plagues the junior dept. They give me a butt, unlike most dress pants and they fit true to size and length. May 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Pants! I can't remember a pair of pants I've worn that have fit so perfectly! I've gotten compliments on them every time I wear them. Great for work or a nice evening out. I love them! December 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these pants. My daughter just loves this pants they are so nice. They are wonderful that the come in different lengths so she can get short and not need to get them hemmed. They wash up nice and she has gotten several pairs. Thank you JCP. December 29, 2015

Answer:
I have never purchased the Juniors as I am 5'10" so I've needed the long. I think if you look on line at the sizing chart it can show you the difference.

Answer:
I'm not sure of the exact difference in inches but if you like to wear heels with them, I suggest the junior long. I recently purchased a size 11 regular and with heels they look slighlty too short. I think the junior long looks much better with heels. I am 5'6" and usually wear a 2 inch heel. I hope that helps!!

Answer:
There is a 2 inch difference between juniors short, juniors, and juniors long. Short is 30" inseam, juniors 32", and juniors long is 34" inseam. If you plan on heels the long might be for you if not then go with just juniors.
