by Sueloves2shop My wife loves her new curtain rod and it's ease of operation
We have been using a different rod setup for a smaller window in our living room near our front door. Our picture window has a long traverse rod with pull lines for opening and closing the curtains. In order to achieve the same look we looked at Menards and another place but all they had displayed was a modern looking rod with rings that had clips to attach the curtains. So we went to JCPenney's and looked in their catalog at the drapery dept.and found exactly what we were looking for.We could have done it ourselves online but it's nice to deal with a friendly and knowledgeable person at our local store.

The traverse rod works as it should. Putting it up on the wall over the window was a job but when done looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stressed We are very pleased with the quality of the product.
We are pleased with the quality and appearance of this product. However, when our product arrived, there were no instructions on how to install this product. After help from the representative on line and the representative over the phone, we got some instructions. Several of the instructions did not apply to our bracket type. This oversight by the manufacturer needs to be corrected.

These blinds would not pull open and closed easily. The hooks glide mechanism kept getting stuck at the area that the two ends of the rod connected. Every piece had to be manipulated just so to work- cord/hooks/middle support. Took me several days to get it to move somewhat easily. Even at half price this rod was a disappointment. Seemed to be cheaply manufactured.

The product is great and saved us a lot of money. To be fair...I didn't install it but jcpenny store put us in touch with their installer.
The only suggestion I would make ...is to provide instructions that were printed larger!
