Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants Okay, so I'm going to try to write this review so that it will be helpful in your decision on whether or not to purchase these. Saying things like these pants were too long but not telling us your height doesn't help one little bit so I'm going to tell you a wee bit about myself. I'm 5'5" and I wear a size 16. I work in an office where we dress semi casual. These pants are great for that! At 5'5" the first time I put these pants on they were a little long but, I decided to wash them because they are made of "mostly" cotton and low and behold as soon as I washed them they shrank up! If you wear pumps they are a great length. If you wear flats and you're 5'5" they are a great length (well maybe a tad long as my legs even at 5'5" tend to be a little on the long side), if you wear high heeled loafers with socks they are little short (your socks might peek out when you are walking) but they are passable. They do run a tiny bit on the small side. I wear a size 16 and these are all W=Wide and they are very close to being snug so I would say if you are firmly in one size or you already wear a wide in the size you're in, you might want to go up one size because again, these are made mostly with cotton and they will shrink after washing. They also fade so don't let that be a surprise for you. If you want to keep them from fading and you like the longer length, dry clean them. If you want them short, wash and then dry them in the dryer. If you want them to be shorter but you want them to keep their color, wash them once to shrink them and then only dry clean them. You get the idea! For the money they are a good value as they are well made and can we worn with many different types of shoes and tops. Great "go to" pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fit! Very comfortable! Excellent fit: I have trouble finding pants that fit everywhere. If I can get them to fit my legs properly, I'll turn around in the mirror and see that the back of the waist is halfway down my butt. These fit PERFECTLY everywhere. I also hate pants that are tight on my calves - these are perfect. I ordered the "short" length with my fingers crossed and they are just right. So glad they're not too short or not too long. Just right! Super comfortable: I bent down to put some pots in my kitchen cabinet and thought, "WOW these are stretchy!" I haven't had pants this comfortable in a long, long time. I'm glad I found these. I'm losing weight, so hopefully it will be easy to just log back in and order the next size down when these get too big. Con for some of us... The material is like velcro for cat hair, so choose your colors carefully if you have any fur in your home. I'm not sure I'll be able to wear the black pair I bought without using several sheets of lint roller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like the fabric... I had to go up one size higher than what I normally wear in their jeans. So I am glad I purchased them in the store. I really like the fabric. It is stretchy, yet thick. The nice thickness gives good coverage over chunky legs. It has the comfort of stretch jeans paired with a business look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pants but hard to get I am tall so it is so hard to find pants to fit. My job requires Khaki pants and I found these at my local store back in Sept 2016 so I purchased one pair to test them out. They worked great, I had to let the hem out but that is to be expected on all my pants so no biggy there. I purchased 2 more pairs in Oct 2016 but have not been able to get any since. I have tried to order in store and on-line but can't seem to get them. I even signed up for the email alert when your item comes back in stock. I have received that email alert 2x and both times when I tried to order on-line it would pop up out of stock as I was putting in my credit card information. Just frustrated that they are always out of stock. I will continue to watch for them to come back in stock, just hope they don't discontinue them before I can get more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Length is not true to size I purchased a Women's short size in these dress pants and they are at least two inches too long. I don't appreciate having to hem pants when they are specifically supposed to be a short length.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pants look old fashioned these pants look a little like old lady pants, like Alfred Dunner or something. legs are a little billowy. I'll keep them but I'm not too impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Khakis for Job Uniform It was taking me a while to locate the khakis pants while shopping until Bonnie, JCP Store associate, came up to me and helped me find the perfect pair of khakis for my uniform. They not only fit perfectly, but the gentle stretch and quality of the material made them look good for my shape. The fabric felt good, slightly slimming, and hardly any wrinkles. At the moment there was only 1 pair that fit me, so Bonnie helped me searched, for another pair. We looked for the model number (because the outside tag was not on the pants) and the model number inside the pair of pants I wanted was the same on all the other St John Bay Khakis. This made it extremely difficult to find another exact pair. So we took a guess by testing each type of pants by stretching them and feeling the material; hoping that we ordered another pair Iike the ones I found on the rack. Overall, my experience was very good, thanks to Bonnie. I hope that JCPenny will have the manufacturer put a different model number on the inside tag of their khakis which will help identify the ones a customer may want to order.
