Do you mean the two lines for each "alpha" size? Sizes listed with a letter, such as XS, S , M, L, have 2 lines for each letter because each letter size covers 2 numeric sizes. For example, size M should fit a size 8 or size 10. If you usually wear a size 8 or size 10, the size M should fit you. Hope this helps.
