Rated 5 out of 5 by from They last and last I am 83 years old and I have been using Stafford underwear since I was 17 when I was going to school in USA, I still manage to buy either on a trip to US or by mail from JCP I still do not know what type of fabrics they use but you wearem and washem and they last and last until you feel you want to wear a brand new piece again and buy again isnt it so wonderful!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value! Great buy for long-wearing T-shirts that are true to size and don't shrink. Husband often wear these T's when working in the yard and they get very dirty. I have even bleached them and the fabric holds up very well. I recommend these T-shirts. Regardless of the "blend" they do breath and are comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still the best v necks for your money When my old JCP vnecks finally wore out after many years I bought some more and they're still the best fit and quality for your money. There may be some shirts out there I like better but I'd have to spend 3 times as much. The V on these is perfect. Many vnecks these days have super small V's and make no sense. Some have super deep V's and are ridiculous. These are just right. Also no side seams! And they're SO SOFT and awesome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This shirt was great when it was 100% cotton - but not now. WHY would a manufacturer want to RUIN a really great undershirt by substituting cheap POLYESTER for part of the wonderful cotton????? I used to LOVE these shirts, but now they are unusable to me. Polyester is the worst fabric on the planet. It feels nasty to your skin and it makes you sweat even if you're cold - a cold sweat is awful. Please bring back this garment in all cotton.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value in Underwear! We purchased some undershirts at a low price store that were made by Hanes. The first undershirt developed a slit-type hole in the shoulder area upon first wearing. The customer service lady asked my wife if we wanted to get another package of the Hanes undershirts and my wife said, "No!" We said we'd go to J. C. Pennys and get the Stafford ones. The customer service lady said she goes there for her boy's undershirts too as they last longer. When I was a kid many decades ago, my Mom discovered the Stafford underwear lasted the best. Even today, she is still right! My size and style was not in stock at the local JCP store. The clerk suggested they order it on-line and have it shipped at not cost to the store for me to pick it up. I bought two four-packs of undershirts, got an e-mail that they had arrived, then a phone call and they were held at the store for us when we arrived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Product My V-neck undershirts needed updating from dingy gray to white so I ordered a pack of the Regular Cotton/Poly white T-shirts. I hate short undershirts do I ordered a pack of Talls also. The talls were 2-2.5" longer than the regular T-shirts but the regulars were plenty long, probably 6-8" below my waist and I'm 5'11". You probably don't need Longs unless you are 6'2+" or above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend!! I have been wearing JC Penney briefs and tee shirts for more than fifty years (I am 83). For my money JC Penney briefs and tee shirts are the best; they have maintained their quality over the years, and they last and last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the feel I love the feel of these shirts. I much prefer the poly/cotton blend rather than 100% cotton.

Answer:
Very poorly. This used to be a great shirt, but when they substituted cheap polyester for part of the cotton, they ruined it. I don't recommend it at all unless they switch back to making it in 100% cotton.

Answer:
Yes. What's great is they have hardly any shrinkage. 100% cotton shrinks a lot. When I do mike bike riding it soaks perspiration well.

Answer:
I don't know which is lighter, because I only buy blended, which always wears longer than 100% cotton. I can't imagine there would be a noticeable difference in fabric weight.
