Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was great, but not anymore. Last year and the years before that, I have always purchased this style of shirt, but within the last year you have made some changes to the fit of this same shirt I used to wear. On 2 different occasions I ordered this style of shirt, even in a little different styles, but still what I thought was my size and NO WHERE in the description was anything about these shirts being fitted. I even had the ladies at my local store trying to order the shirts for me and every time they ordered them they came in the same, FITTED!! I do not wear FITTED shirts, nor I cannot wear FITTED shirts. All the shirts I have in my closet are becoming older looking and it's time for something fresh looking. I've always matched up the tags to be sure to get the same style shirt, but they always comes to me as being FITTED!! So now I have to go elsewhere and the fit is not the same. Maybe try and bring back the original fitting shirt, Because as for reading many other comments, other people are having the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I have been purchasing these shirts for years so when I received a recent order, I was severely disappointed. For starters, the shirt does not even say "Signature" on the label. Next, EVERY aspect of the shirt with the exception of the collar and sleeve length, is smaller. The sleeve diameters are smaller, the overall length of the shirt is shorter, and the chest/trunk fit is tighter. The material seems thinner than my 5-year old shirts. No, I have not gotten fatter... I actually took an older shirt of the same size out of my closet to compare. My guess is that there was a "cost savings" effort and they decided to make a "Big and Tall" man's shirt smaller. Go figure!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why are styles different on this shirt, when choosing different color? Notice the different style for Oxford Blue shirt vs the other colors. Right Angle Cuffs vs. Rounded Cuffs. Even the tags in the shirts are different. I have worn JCP Stafford Dress shirts for more than 25 yrs. On my last two orders, I have not been pleased at call with the fit or quality of shirts. JCP...wake up and read these reviews. You are losing loyal customers. Bring back the quality that made us loyal customers for so long. (R u listening JCP?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work, Live and Play... As an active professional, on the move during the week as well as the weekend this shirt meets all my expectations. The size purchased is a true fit, saying that, I would guess whatever size one purchased would be the same. The Non-Iron fabric is great. One needs to wash and tumble dry and your ready to tackle the meetings during the week and go to the flea market on the weekend. As a Male, we do not have very many options as to color (Black, Brown, Gray and Blue suits) so given that we've got lemons, let's make sure we make the best Lemon-aide. Good construction, looks good on and allows one to work all day, go to dinner and play on the weekends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Who Changed the Cut of the Men's Dress Shirts As stated in several of the other reviews, for some reason JCPenney decided to change the cut of the shirts to fit skeletons only. I have been buying these shirts for 25 years and if you purchase althetic cut now, they are so tight in the sleeves, you can't wear them. I had to buy the regular cut just so the sleeve was not so tight and they are very baggy in the waste. Whoever decided to change the cuts of these shirts made a major mistake. After 25 years of always buying Stafford, I am finding a new brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHY SLIM FIT FOR BIG and TALL!!!! I know slim fit is supposed to be fashionable but it is ridiculous to sell a 181/2 neck shirt in slim fit! My arms didn't fit into the sleeves and the shirt body was barely large enough to button, much less move. Think about it, what "slim" person has a 181/2 inch neck and a 50 inch body? In college, I was a slim person needing a 38" inch sleeve but I sure didn't need a 181/2 neck!! I have purchased JCPenny shirts for 20 years but I will have to change brands now. P.S. the product description does not say slim fit, the joke's on you when you put it on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No shirt pocket! I did not catch the part in the description that there was no shirt pocket. Who would had thought a dress shirt had no pocket! I always send my new shirts to the dry cleaners first thing while they are still in the package. They remove all the pins and stuff and of course press it.When I got dressed to go to work at 6 AM in the morning, I tried to put my eye glasses in my shirt pocket. What a surprise. I did not keep the receipt so I will have to get rid of them some how. A busted internet order.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JC Penney Changed My Favorite Shirt After purchasing JC Penney Excutive Non-Iron Cotton Pinpoint Oxford Shirts (blue and white colors) EXCLUSIVELY for work for the better part of 20 years, I stopped buying with the latest edition. These shirts were an absolute bargin and looked great with wrinkle free laundering. You could even wash with bleach if coffee stained and they would look as good as new. But then someone in charge of these shirts at JC Penny became restless and changed the styling adding V notched tailoring to the cuff opennings at the button holes essentially ruining this classic shirt. I still purchased one to give it a chance but returned it after feeling an actual physical discomfort at the site of the V notch cuffs. Please bring back "my shirt" without the V notched cuffs.

The cut of the lower sleeves was changed about 3 years ago to where it is tight on the lower arms. This has been my choice of shirts in the past. I am looking at getting some new shirts and need to know if the cut has been changed back to where it is looser on the lower arms.

Thank you

Answer:
They fixed the cut, it is back to the 2010/2011 cut. Glad they finally fixed the athletic fit as my previous shirts were getting ratty. Just purchased 9 shirts.

Answer:
I purchased two of these recently. One is "fitted" and the other is "slim fit." The lower arm seems fairly roomy - about two inches of fabric to spare between the seam and my arm. I've worn both shirts and they are extremely comfortable.

Answer:
I don't know exact shoulder size, but this shirts fits perfectly on my 6 ft, 175 lb frame. I have a 34 inch waist and this shirt isn't tight at all.. I'd say if your waist was 40-inches you'd feel more than snug.

I don't wear the athletic cut shirts, I buy the standard fit size 16.5 X 34. My waist is 32 and chest is 44.
Hope this helps you.

In the description it says that it has a chest pocket. However, the image does not show chest pocket. I need a Pinpoint Oxford that has a chest pocket. Will this shirt work?
