Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Great gloves at an even greater price. Soft flexible leather with a fur like lining. The tip of the index fingers and thumbs are a plus for using my smart phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ridiculously warm My Mom-in-law got these for me for Christmas. They seem rather cheap -- the leather is pretty darn thin and I can see some crooked stitching. However, gosh are these things warm !! And they fit my large hands well. I have the X-Large size and they are very comfortable. I ride motorcycles and one chilly day, I wore these for a quick ride around the neighborhood. I was amazed that I couldn't feel the wind and my hands remained warm. This is ridiculous performance for such thin, lightweight gloves. Because they're thin, you maintain some dexterity and can do things with them that you might not be able to do with thicker gloves. I carry six different pairs of gloves on my one motorcycle -- very thin leather, thin leather with insulation, thick leather with insulation, thicker leather with more insulation, medium-insulation textile and heavy-insulated textile. These Stafford gloves are the most comfortable and warmest gloves I have and I can't understand why. I'm headed out to purchase another pair today so that I have a motorcycle pair and a regular pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable glove at a great price I bought these gloves for my 4 sons for Christmas and got them for a great price. They are a very soft leather glove, warm and comfortable, great for texting. They didn't have that strong leather smell when you opened the plastic wrap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit & Great Price So I got to admit, I was first amazed that they had a size that would fit my father, then when i saw the price it was perfect. I got the XL, its a great fit, not too tight, and it stretches when you move your hands. I got them for my dad to wear while hes riding his motorcycle. A great buy :) Also perfect for working outside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap, cheap, cheap! I ordered these gloves as a replacement for some cloth-based "texting" gloves that I have had for a few years. I've always liked the quality of Stafford items I have purchased in the past and thought I'd give these a go. Unfortunately, the gloves were not up to par with ANY of my prior Stafford purchases. When I first took them out of their packaging, I noticed how thin and light they were. At first I thought, "Wow! That is indeed some THINsulate!" But as I tried to put them on, I began to notice how cheaply made they were. The leather itself was so thin that the tags, which were attached to this small tab of the same leather, had already began to rip a hole in that tab. I dismissed that because I'd cut that off anyway, as you're supposed to do. But as I began to pull them on my hands, I noticed they were made VERY small. These were a size XL, and in the past I've been able to wear large and XL gloves from JCPenney... So Infound it odd how small they were. I thought maybe this might help the "texting" feature and continued to pull them on. They fit... But were incredibly snug. So as I go to pull them off, the rip. One glove rips at a sewn seam, but the other literally rips mid-forefinger! The leather was so thin, it couldn't even handle one time being put on and taken off! Also, I noticed that the THINsulate seemed to be missing a liner between it and my hand. It's like they took a bunch of leftover fabric and bits of thread and whipped it into a very bumpy and uncomfortable insulation material... But they didn't cover it, making its scratchy texture be up against your skin. I also noticed that this seemed to separate and bits fall off as well. So, after only putting them on one time, I took them back. Unfortunately, because of a mistake in the computer system, a second pair arrived the next day. Thinking that the first might have just been a defect, I checked out the second pair. It fit more loosely, but was still smaller than the other 2 pairs of XL gloves I own. But again, same cheap materials and even had the same rip in the seam, but this time when pulling on! Needless to say, I returned both pair. I don't know if this review will help, as I think these are sold out for the year, but if they're made next year... DO NOT BUY!
